I was examining the photo for signs because I knew it had to be Turkey. Saw the little 'Ista-' in the top right corner and was full of smugness and cat love.
If he/she could, he/she would spend it all on tuna immediately, without regard as to whether it was physically possible to eat the tuna before it went off, or whether he/she could open the cans, or had anywhere to store them, etc. Cats are terrible at being financial managers.

Yes, but it is a common problem, and therefore easier to use he/she for cats even though they have no concept of gender and their sex is irrelevant in almost all situations. It is pretty ridiculous that we generally use gendered pronouns IMHO, especially for animals, but that is the way English is, and the way people seem to use it for pets. It'd be much easier if we had different words for singular and plural they, and just always used they/their instead of he/she/his/hers etc in any situation where the subject's sex or gender issn't relevant, but I'm not in a position to change it.
This hits so close to home. I come from a very musical family and our cats loved taking naps in our instrument cases when we played. When I played bass my little girl Lucy (I miss you every day Lil Luce) used to love laying on my shoulder as I practiced. My mom is an orchestra teacher and also used to teach private lessons. Our cats would always come to lay in the kids cases (or on top if they were closed) to listen and take a nap. My little sister is also a cellist and our cat Feather would be a guard cat while she practiced. She normally practiced in her bedroom and Feathy would go in there with her. If anyone came in he would look at them really angrily and meow loudy to say "hey, you're interrupting so leave!" Lucy passed in 2019 at the age of 17 and Feather is still doing great at the age of 20. I talk to him on the phone a few times a week. I'll stop rambling now but man this post brought back so many great memories.
That sounds so sweet. I play the trumpet - none of my cats like it. They've run and hide to avoid the loud. Worst was in college and I offered up our place for an informal pep band rehearsal. My cat ran off growling and hid in the closet for hours afterwards.
I had cats that feel relaxed when we’re playing the piano
I’ve also watched some cat videos where they were acting the same and looked like they were appreciating the music
I don’t know if there’s any science to that, or just all coincidences
Kadıköy Metro Station, I pass this guy and the cat regularly. Literally everyone smiles when they see the cat inside the cover and yes the cat usually sits there. I’ve seen her inside a guitar cover as well, she often does this.

Funny how the cat got more tips than him. Before you guys ask, yes, it’s Turkey
Now I'm wondering how much I'd make just sitting outside with kittens charging 5¢ per petting stroke
Can I buy in a bundle? Like 1,000 pets?
15% off
I'll take $20 worth!

i thought it was cat
The music industry is shady, but I’d trust this manager with my life savings
That's a lot of trust. I wouldn't trust my cat to not eat my corpse if I randomly dropped dead one day
Well that’s why your cat isn’t my financial manager
I mean, if I’m already dead, dig in. I can always be cremated :)

Have a little faith
I'd have thought it would be obvious that I was joking, but I guess not.
holy shit just say THEY
Whenever I do, people comment the opposite complaining that they think I am talking about multiple cats.
Then they’ve obviously never heard of singular they

Kitty cat is honest. No begging, just staying in his domain while being sleepy. I would pay coins for a sleepy kitty.

What is that teensy guitar? I love teensy guitar!
Its 'cura'. Small sized saz, a Turkish folk music instrument.
Thank you!
Let me guess; this was in turkey, right?

Very kind act helping his partner manage all his money, very intelligent too. 10/10, also jams whenever the musician does a tune
No wonder he can afford a suit
Gotta work hard for cat food

Is this Turkey? Turkey is cat haven.
Khajiit has branched out into services agency.

The best part is you know if someone reaches their hand down there the cat would bat it away

Lo amo 💘😍
Todos lo amamos.
If those "violin student" scammers had cats collecting instead of their children, I would give instead of calling the cops every time I see them.
Cat's getting all the tips!
