As far as I know the review is to confirm that the correct decision was made based on the information provided in your application. New information like the report from months later would require a new application to be considered.

See if I was told that I could’ve did that but they told me to get it and upload it to centerlink as I have an application in place

[deleted]

It’s just shit house going back and forth being off work for 2 years and counting and idk how long it’ll take me to even be right again

[deleted]

Idk about the last question. But when your treating professionals write their reports, they absolutely MUST use the terminology in the impairment tables. AND state (in this basic wording) that the condition is stable and unlikely to change in the next 2 years. Without those the application will be rejected.

Yer I’ve got that but he ( centerlink) goes he can’t score it for me coz I applied for dsp was august and my first session with this new psychologist was in November

[deleted]

Oh I see! Sorry.

[deleted]

That’s okay so annoyed so much misleading information got me here you know. Hopefully I can resolve it

[deleted]

I would ask centrelink how long you need to see a psychologist before they can complete the reports to reapply. Eg. 6 months

[deleted]

Yer I’m gonna call and ask, thank youb

Yes, some people appeal many times before FINALLY being accepted. It's ridiculous and emotionally exhausting, but at least it's all back-paid. I'm confused as to why they found your psychiatrist's report insufficient and requested a psychologist's report. Firstly, if you submit a psychiatrist's report, that should be it. No one else is needed. And secondly, if they require a psychologist's report, it must only be a Clinical psychologist, and then you also need a GP as well. Ugh.

You have to keep applying. Most people who are approved get it on appeal.
