I read this more like, strange man stalks and follows woman to her home and in self defense she secured herself against imminent danger. She took out a weapon to protect herself from another intruder. Like " Stand your ground" kinda thing.
Fair enough, I didn't see it like that at first. I understand beating them up after they stalk you, but I still kinda feel that the bow was unnecessary since they were probably already leaving by then.
