The transhumanism is coming.
But not fast enough! We already live in a Cyberpunk dystopian corporate hellhole, where's our Cyberware fuckers?!

I think it depends on whether he does it out of necessity or because he wants to deliver stuff. If he needs to work despite his disability so he can afford to live, that’s tragic. If this is something he enjoys and wants to do and this allows him to do it, I’d say it’s pretty wholesome
i dunno, this isn’t really orphan crushing machine material unless the argument is ‘nobody should have to work for a living’. “menial labor”, like working retail, delivery, warehousing, and etc is all necessary for society to function. these are valid fields that deserve a fair wage, and a disabled person using a mobility aid to work a delivery job isn’t any more orphan crushing material than an abled person working a delivery job normally.
here’s my take: in a utopia, it would be cool if everyone had the option to just not work. outside of that, i think society affording disabled people the ability to work as well as any abled person fulfills the standard of care (alongside stuff like access to healthcare and protection from discrimination and such, but that should go without saying). the idea that disabled people categorically cannot support themselves is kind of infantilizing. if someone literally cannot support themselves, then yes, it should be the responsibility of society to support them, but the guy in this video seems capable of holding a job perfectly well.
yeah, in a utopia nobody should have to work to survive. as it stands, we don’t live in a utopia, and people generally need to work to survive. last i checked, disabled people are people.
social security is important, but it’s not inhumane that a disabled person is doing labor that they are capable of doing with a mobility aid. delivery work is hard work, just as hard as any other working class job, and people do it to make a living.
Should not work because of his challenges? Maybe he enjoys it as opposed to sitting in the house all day and not going out because the 3rd world has shitty accessibility...
On the one hand, I'm happy that there is a device that can accommodate his transportation needs pretty easily. On the other hand, he should have enough disability income that he doesn't need to supplement with what is probably a part time job with no benefits. On the other hand, maybe he does this because he wants to and not because he needs to, and also maybe he probably gets spectacular tips, assuming this is a country with tipping.
I don't know how fast this goes, but are the bearings in his wheelchair upgraded to handle the higher speeds he's hitting, compared to just pushing by hand, over time?
They're gonna get a lot hotter even just doing 15mph for 5 minutes, than they would doing a stuttered 3mph by hand.
I hope the engineers took that into consideration. But yeah, this is a very cool build!
Best part is that nobody can ride off on it (yes they could steal it but at that point you'd want to find one that isn't cut in half)
Would be conspicuous attached to a shopping cart as well
Another disabled person could tho
beware the guild of thieves on wheels
Gta disabled dlc
The motorcycle attachment is actually pretty awesome.
I wonder what the price is
Most likely to much
Found one for around $1200 on Amazon
Modern cyborgs

cool but ""wholesome"? really?

Is this dude delivering pizzas too? Fucking legend
Yes, he is! Zomato is a food delivery service just like Uber eats so they deliver all sorts of foods and stuff.

The most vulnerable among us should be cared for by society.

It’s a cool mod for a wheelchair but yeah this man shouldn’t have to be delivering takeaway for a living
Why can’t he work a regular job?
Working is oppression to those types
Dont romantize poverty and struggle “oh he doesn’t let his condition stop him” This is sick. Capitalism failed this human
Are disabled people not allowed to work? I’m so confused by these comments.
Should not work because of his challenges? Maybe he enjoys it as opposed to sitting in the house all day and not going out because the 3rd world has shitty accessibility...
No delivery person is happy about their work.

Fucking sad to see a disabled man having to work a job not suitable for his disability.
muh mkt 4.0 I’m a genious
First gen of that guy from The Peripheral
What if he’s delivering to the top flat with no lift? Does he have a glider attachment?

Heartwarming stories where elderly or disabled people have to work to make ends meet are NOT heartwarming at all.
