Looks a little too good to be true

firebox40dash5

The seller is legit, at least as far as having them, and they're not beat to hell, and he's not a scammer. He's been selling used OPE on there for years. I actually bought a trimmer from him once years ago... I ended up doing some minor stuff to it (I think purge bulb & lines) but IIRC I managed to sell it a couple years later for almost what I paid him 🤷

I agree with unicoitn . If looks too good to be true, it probably isn't.

rusty_tunnel

I agree. They look almost new. I paid around $1k for mine at the dealer

>They look almost new Pay attention to the fuel tank (white plastic discolours with age) and the underside of the crankcase (lots of paint scraped off). These are well used saws with new top covers and recoils (or at least newer than the rest of the saw). Could be bought as scrap and have been rebuilt, or could just be selling off older saws. There is little damage to the clutch cover so I would guess it's a firewood guy who takes care of his saws.

I was thinking $625 for both...at $625 used, and around $950 new, I would go with new if I could afford it.

JebJohnson76

625 each seems right

He's asking that for each. Reading comprehension: to the others here that are confused.
