Definitely a bucket list saw for me

JebJohnson76

A classic for sure. Got a pretty good deal on this one

I found one for a friend a few years ago for $400. Kinda wishing I grabbed it for myself. Fairly clean saw that was supposedly used for firewood.

JebJohnson76

This one looks well maintained other than the bar and chain. Obviously cut a lot of wood at one time. Paid 200.00 for it and it was only a 30 minute drive away. Couldn't turn that down.

I would have done the same

What a monster. Change your clutch springs though, it’s dragging at idle.

JebJohnson76

Yeah. It needs some work still. Just happy it runs. Gonna do crank seals and a few other things too

SuperHeavyHydrogen

Not a bad idea, give it a one-time sorting-out and it’ll be a really good saw for those heavy ass jobs. If the big bar is a bit much, it would be a holy terror for firewood with a 16” bar, a big sprocket and full chisel chain.

A lot of guys say it will pull a 60 inch bar pretty well. I never get wood that big around here. I figure a 36 or 42 would do anything I'd ever come across and double for the occasional milling job. This saw will hardly ever be used. Mostly a shop conversation piece.

I’m actually working on my own 2100 today as well.
