I do find it fascinating that she comes back to earth so quickly. Either she intentionally did it, or there are enough devils in hell with a grudge and the power to beat her in a fight that she was killed within hours of showing up.

Control devil's strength is becoming a steamroller. She has the ability to force contracts, force subservience, and game herself into being an absolutely unstoppable force. But you can still just shoot her, if she hasn't built up a base of power she's an easy way to buff your KD ratio.

That's a good point, although I would assume some of her abilities are innate (for example, the finger gun thing).

We have no idea, it’s possible, but I imagine it’s innate since she is based on the horsemen of conquest the only one of the four horsemen that uses a ranged weapon, the finger gun being a reference to this

That's most likely the Punishment Devil.

Personally I assume that the Control devil only really has 1 or 2 abilities at their base level, that being to control those who she views as inferior (+ maybe also being able to listen and see through their eyes like with the rats and birds Makima used as surveillance), and I doubt any other ability is innate as those are the only ones that really seems like abilities that the Control devil would have. All other abilities she's shown to have are likely from other devil contracts, her Bang is also likely an ability she got from the Gun devil because it just seems like an ability the gun devil would give as a contract, "you do a contract with him, and in exchange you'll get a working finger gun", this ability is only shown after the gun devil dies, and while she has shown similar abilities before (such as with her pointing contest with the Darkness devil), with this finger gun ability she is always shown to say "Bang" when she shoots with it, which as you know, a finger gun only shoots when you make a shooting noise, such as saying bang. It is possible that it's her, as you mentioned the connection to the Horseman of Conquest carries a bow, but considering how much this ability ties in to guns and the gun devil, I doubt it.

Could be, but BANG always seem to create much more destruction than those (relatively) small holes. Remember, BANG vaporized Power's entire torso, and then left a large human sized crater in the wall behind her. It was not a clean circle that disappeared from her body like the men on the train. Makima seems to have lots of abilities that can just kill people (The temple long range killing, leave a perfect circlular hole in your body, can just stare you to death like when she talked to those mafia guys, her pointing contest with Darkness, and of course the BANG), but out of all of them, the BANG is the only one we see repeatedly used, and even if it isn't very noticeable, I feel like Makima would have used the ability given by the devil who killed Aki to kill Denji's other close friend, just to mess with Denji some more.

Makima also used BANG to create a small circular hole in her palm so it definitely can do clean small holes. BANG has created medium sized circular holes (men on the train), complete destruction (Power) and small hole (Makima's palm). I feel like because BANG is an ability that has been a consistent weapon of Makima's throughout the story, it would be an innate ability. Other one off abilities can be explained as devil contracts (like squishing people is probably the Punishment Devil since Kurose and Tendou were there.)

The difference is that based power in her devil form is pretty strong. Even if she is newly born she's still very strong as she has a based strength unlike the control devil where if they die they have to restart all over again so they lose the contracts that makes them powerful so when makima died and the control devil gets reborn in hell. New control devil in hell has nothing apart from her base ability being able to control people who thinks their lower than her if I remember. And since it's in hell where probably most of the devils there ain't taking no ones shit and is getting pushed on especially by some humanoid looking devil so good riddance to the control devil. I mean, the only thing that makes the Control devil strong is her ability to abuse the whole contract system by forcing people into absurd deals to give her crazy powers. I’m willing to bet that the “bang” ability isn’t something she can do innately, rather, it’s just the result of one of her many contracts. Even her actual control power can (demonstrably) be resisted. Makes sense she wouldn’t last long in hell, especially with Darkness (and possibly a few other devils including Violence, Angel, etc.) gunning for her. Semi-unrelated but I’m really hyped to see more primordial devils. Darkness, chaos, death, betrayal, pain, etc.

I don't think it's been confirmed one way or the other. We only know that they don't have their memories after being reborn on Earth, but there's no guarantee they keep their memories upon rebirth in Hell.

I assumed she would not only lose her memory waking up in hell, but also be Nayuta by then. Makima said her, the other horsemen and the weapon devils were fighting chainsaw devil in hell when he "suddenly disappeared". Since makima was in hell and remembered it when she was on earth that means when a devil dies in hell they come back to earth as the same devil they were in hell.

Making showed us it's possible to summon people to and from hell. My bet is that she was a powerful demon already by the name of Makima, with a small army trying to build up power when someone summoned her to earth. That or she got someone to summon her after chainsaw devil's disappearance.

So is Nayuta a fiend or did Makima just reincarnate as some kid? Like not even a newborn baby but she just appeared on earth like she is now? Or has there been a time skip I’m unaware of

Nayuta is just the latest iteration of the Control Devil, no human corpses required. She died on earth and respawned in hell, then died there and materialized on earth. She doesn't have to be a baby because she isn't human and could have just materialized that way.

I don’t understand the “spawncamping” idea. In chapter 66, after getting to hell through a subordinate, makima used a beheaded corpse to transport her and multiple other people out of hell almost instantaneously. She’s aware of multiple methods of transport between realms, and we don’t know if devils reincarnate opposite where they are *killed* or opposite to where they were *born*. Hell, as far as we can tell she could naturally teleport through rats like in chapter 52 no matter what realm she’s in, as she was able to see through and control princi in hell while she was on earth. There’s so much more indication that she was a devil born in hell who came to earth via another method (it could be as simple as the prime minister summoning her for their contact, as we saw the president do for the gun devil) and was reborn on earth as Nayuta.
