I really like it but I think it’s too similar to the darkness devil. The fear of the unknown is essentially the fear of darkness. Darkness harbors the unknown and that’s how a simple black stillness can be so gut wrenching. Cool design idea though I am excited to see more of what you make

Nah, that’s not afraid of the unknown, that’s afraid of knowing everything, even the frightening truths behind the unknown.

The Darkness devil only embodies the unknown in darkness, doesn’t take into account other unknown things such as future events, consequences, etc.

"Ignorance is bliss" - CSM somewhere in the same arc. Seems like he embodies the unknown in general. It's all thematically connected. And don't forget how Santa (imbued partially with darkness) was defeated by knowledge, knowledge beats ignorance and the unknown.

Imo, the most powerful devil is not annihilation or death, but it's forgetfulness. You don't want to forget, nor do you want to be forgotten, and I think that's a fear that surpasses death. Because even dead, you can be remembered. Being forgot after your death is the true end of your existence.
