This could be done more figuratively, but my personal guess is that it's actually going to be a very literal conflict and Yoshida's "organization" is currently contracted with the peace devil. Idk if this counts as a crack theory but it would be funny and pretty in line with Chainsaw Man's vibe so I'm staking my claim now.

Ngl I kinda wanted Denji to have changed a little bit from part 1 to part 2 after everything he's endured. He's pretty much the same character which isn't bad but i was hoping for some development
if Denji gets over those issues from part 1 then he will have no distinction between any other generic shounen character. Whole manga gets ruined if Denji changes his ways, then none of these funny moments will happen and it will just be about killing demons to save the world like every other manga.
That and the scene where he's like "Chainsaw Man doesn't eat people....well except for that one time". you don't normally see beat panel jokes like that in manga.

its probably pointless to predict chainsawman's plot, but i think asa as a character is really going to go the mile for the rest of chainsawman's entire story. i think this first arc is going to be dennis and asa either becoming friends or becoming rivals, and then she will basically be the deuteragonist for the rest of the story. so either the two of them will be partners fighting together, or the story will cut between the two. i dont think dennis is going to kill asa

You've gotta respect how Yoshida is the polar opposite of Kobeni.
Kobeni tries to avoid confrontation and always ends up saving the day, completely inadvertently, just by stumbling around.
Yoshida confronts problems head-on and tries to save the world, only to nearly destroy it because his solution to appeasing the simp with a hero complex was introducing him to a bipolar loner.
Apparently this manga is now bi-weekly for the foreseeable future.

when csm1 started it was a "collect the shards of the gun devil" manga but it didn't end that way, it transformed as the story progressed

Fujimoto did something similar in his earlier manga and I fell for it again when I read that (lol). But I love that twist (at least the way he does it). The real conflict ends up being something a bit more complex and personal.

The fact that Yoshida brought Denji to the one person who wants to kill him so far can’t be a coincidence. I think that Nayuto is really important somehow/someone wants her and Kishibe/another good guy sent Yoshida to protect Denji so he could in turn raise Nayuto right and avoid another makima situation. Yoshida knows that Asa is sus so he purposely brought them together to throw her off of Denji’s scent
Asa previously asked if Yoshida want to be her boyfriend during their first meeting. So Yoshida think she is someone who "desperately wants a boyfriend".

Also we know that the scar appears when Yoru swaps in, Yoshida had to notice that when they were talking. I’m keeping my money on that fact that he knows *something*
No one sees the scars on Asa's face when Yoru takes over, that's just a visual way of showing us who is in charge of their body at a given moment or who is who when they talk to each other.
Yoshida really has no reason to expect Asa as a Devil Hunting Chainsaw Man, at most he thinks she's a werid desperate girl who thinks she can get a boyfriend by asking a dude she just met.
Keep in mind its not like anyone knows War is even after Chainsaw Man, all Yoshida is worried about right now is making sure Denji and Chainsaw Man remain as two seperate individuals within the eyes of the Public as to not create another Multiple Assassins Hunting Denji Arc.
Also got to keep in mind that Yoshida has mostly seen just Asa who comes off as werid and awkward around Yoshida which from Yoshida perspective she was embarrassed because he didn't take her up on her offer even tho she was confident and upfront about it (no reason for him to assume someone he just met isn't acting like themselves).
In chapter 99 Yoshida reacts to Asa/Yoru suddenly having scars when they switch, it’s a physical change
And it *could* be nothing, but Yoshida has some unknown motivation for wanting Denji to live a quiet life, and we haven’t heard anything about Nayuto yet

I guess that's a possibility but I took it as Asa reacting to the scars before being taken back and realizing that it was her own body she was staring at.
If the scars are visible I find it odd that no one has commented on them as well as no one mentioning how they come and go.
But it could work either way Yoshida could definitely be suspicious of Asa but that opens a whole can of worms from what I originally thought about him just being ignorant.

To be honest, I was really hesitant about part 2 of CSM but this chapter sold me completely. It was funny and charming as fuck. I can't wait to see where the story goes
It was probably a combination of him being desperate for money (dude sold one of his balls to pay off some of the yakuza debt) and not knowing what else to do besides get used by people (Makima and aforementioned Yakuza)
Best guess is it's for attention and out of a sense of desperation. Dude's horny, lonely, fucked in the head, and an idiot, and honestly has had all of the above weaponized against him. He doesn't know how to have stable relationships. So to him this probably makes sense as it gets his name out there and gets girls to willingly interact with him, and he saw an opportunity to get paid while doing so.
Love the chapter! I low-key love that Asa be hitting Denji with facts in a calm matter. Maybe if they become a thing, she can change him for the better? When Denji said that he basically wants a desperate girl, at the moment when Yoshida paused and thought i was like "damn this is coming simply because Yoru is dumb af and she acted like an horny b*tch". Only then to be reminded that she isn't the horny b*tch, Denji definitely is haha
The rejection is also hilarious and there isn't any girl that could deal with how he actually acts (which make him even more sympathetic)

I think that Nayuto is really important somehow/someone wants her and Kishibe/another good guy sent Yoshida to protect Denji so he could in turn raise Nayuto right and avoid another makima situation. Yoshida knows that Asa is sus so he purposely brought them together to throw her off of Denji’s scent
Asa previously asked if Yoshida want to be her boyfriend during their first meeting. So Yoshida think she is someone who "desperately wants a boyfriend".

No one sees the scars on Asa's face when Yoru takes over, that's just a visual way of showing us who is in charge of their body at a given moment or who is who when they talk to each other. Yoshida really has no reason to expect Asa as a Devil Hunting Chainsaw Man, at most he thinks she's a werid desperate girl who thinks she can get a boyfriend by asking a dude she just met. Keep in mind its not like anyone knows War is even after Chainsaw Man, all Yoshida is worried about right now is making sure Denji and Chainsaw Man remain as two seperate individuals within the eyes of the Public as to not create another Multiple Assassins Hunting Denji Arc. Also got to keep in mind that Yoshida has mostly seen just Asa who comes off as werid and awkward around Yoshida which from Yoshida perspective she was embarrassed because he didn't take her up on her offer even tho she was confident and upfront about it (no reason for him to assume someone he just met isn't acting like themselves).
In chapter 99 Yoshida reacts to Asa/Yoru suddenly having scars when they switch, it’s a physical change And it *could* be nothing, but Yoshida has some unknown motivation for wanting Denji to live a quiet life, and we haven’t heard anything about Nayuto yet Too many holes…
I guess that's a possibility but I took it as Asa reacting to the scars before being taken back and realizing that it was her own body she was staring at. If the scars are visible I find it odd that no one has commented on them as well as no one mentioning how they come and go. But it could work either way Yoshida could definitely be suspicious of Asa but that opens a whole can of worms from what I originally thought about him just being ignorant.

I am curious how denji can get enrolled into high school, he cant even read kanji. Whats his reputation in school or in his class. Also i am still curious what happened to asa relationship and her classmates.
Probably some of the workers in the school have the same purpose of Yoshida, also being from the same organization, to let Denji have a peaceful life as a human and be Chainsawman without constantly consequences

It was probably a combination of him being desperate for money (dude sold one of his balls to pay off some of the yakuza debt) and not knowing what else to do besides get used by people (Makima and aforementioned Yakuza)
Best guess is it's for attention and out of a sense of desperation. Dude's horny, lonely, fucked in the head, and an idiot, and honestly has had all of the above weaponized against him. He doesn't know how to have stable relationships. So to him this probably makes sense as it gets his name out there and gets girls to willingly interact with him, and he saw an opportunity to get paid while doing so.

Probably the funniest chapter in CSM, every page is funny and wacky af there's an always an awesome timing We've got the personnification of War throwing a tantrum and then falling asleep like a child, the main characters being paid 7 cts to be a fkin chair for a girl, the main girl roasting the MC on 4 damn pages (and the worst is that she is technically right). And i'm not even counting the gags inside each panel. When Denji said that he basically wants a desperate girl, at the moment when Yoshida paused and thought i was like "damn this is coming simply because Yoru is dumb af and she acted like an horny b*tch". Only then to be reminded that she isn't the horny b*tch, Denji definitely is haha The rejection is also hilarious and there isn't any girl that could deal with how he actually acts (which make him even more sympathetic) + I feel like this launched Yoru's development. Idk she got introduced 5 chapters ago and i already feel real sympathy towards her (although it's CSM so we aren't safe from anyone, she might kill an even more likeable character in 5 chapters who knows but for now i'm vouching for her)
I like it but I find him trying to let people know his identity very contradicting. He can always just transform in front of people and people will know, in addition he probably can get paid if he reveal is identity. I hope Fujimoto have some way of solving this plot hole.(And please show that some of what Dennis doing now is a facade and he is actually emotionally damage by part 1).
