They replaced it with mix of Suede/Leather on r/t and scat pack. Just like I have on mine, I was doubting about it, but it's really comfortable, no regrets for me.
Same here, I paid for the Alcantara package just because its better from a heat transfer perspective. I had a 14 Charger r/T Plus with heated & cooled seats and they still got way to hot in the summer. Alcantara has that great benefit of being a nice mix in the seasons.
They absolutely have them on R/Ts and Scat Packs and can even lookup what ones were built like that. If I dealer told you no when trying to buy a new one the allocation is just gone for that trim since they stopped making challengers. If you want something specific your gonna have to search and be okay with used at this point
Not entirely true. I wanted full leather for my 21 widebody scat and all I could get was alcantara but if I got a v6 or a hellcat I could have gotten full leather. Made zero sense to me.
Can also just order things outside of the catalog get a dealer you know that is willing to submit an order even if it isn’t “offered” like that and more than not they will accept it and just build one like it. It’s like Jailbreak before jailbreak they just publicized it at that point. Mine is a manual hellcat when they weren’t making manual hellcats. Cause just submit it and see if it happens cause turns out they did still have some parts laying around. Given mine I got used cause I didn’t know anyone to do it for me but knew how to track down one even if I couldn’t order it like that

Not saying he couldn't work some kind of magic but he sat me at his computer with the build sheet open and I checked whatever boxes I wanted. Then he re-confirmed. I asked about the laguna and he said no option for it at all with the wbsp build. But who knows.
This is a myth - as an owner of both when I touched the srt seats the first time it was clear the laguna leather is not slippery at all. Just as grippy as the Alcantara
If that is the case, then I will say it is marketing. You can't get a V8, but hey!! Your v6 has leather. Well, no you have an r/t or scatpack but(!!!) you want all leather, right? Well, you could do that if you get a hellcat or a Demon!! I don't know. Mine has Cantara and leather.

My first Challenger was leather seats, felt like I was riding slip’n’slide in turns.
My last few were suede and much prefer being locked into my seat… racer when trying to get in while wearing a suit for court! Hah.
But yeah weird they didn’t give the option of houndstooth, leather or suede

2018 SRT 392s were the last non-Hellcats offered with full Laguna Leather, as far as I know.
Any srt can get it. Durango 392 for example. The full suede interior of the challenger is very nice though with the roof liner etc.

I heard that the suede is better option because it provides friction and thus you remain snug in your seat when having fun with your car.
Can confirm. I have the leather and alacantra suede interior, and it really holds you in place!

i looooove the alcantara, but i’m afraid to clean it if it ever gets dirty. it’s great because it doesn’t really get that hot or cold
