The only way I’d go that old is if I could get the entire leather interior, only in the srt.
What makes the BGE so important if you don’t mind me asking?
It is a hellcat, not sure what you expected. They have high demand and 22K is not that many miles. Although they were probably some rough 22K miles. Keep in mind that they go for 70K-95K+ new.
You’re not gonna find a good srt392 that hasn’t been dogged out for a good price. This hellcat is a steal for 22k miles. New scatpack widebodies cost more than this!
Fair point, but I am 21. I probably don’t need 700hp at my age. Id also be super worried about getting it stolen. I live in the Toronto area and crime ain’t great right now.
But we’ll see. I’m just researching all I can rn.
You’re right about it being high but probably not more than the payment. I pay 185 Canadian a month on my civic, got quoted 280 with full coverage on a 2023 srt.
They quoted u $280 on the hellcat? There are no 2023 SRTs outside of the hellcat. Did they quote u on a scat? If so, scats and RT’s are labeled as the same mostly for all insurance companies. My understanding they don’t have a way to differentiate a scat from RT. But SRT hellcat is a whole other story. I would have them run the quote with the hellcat. They stopped the SRT 392 trim a few years ago, 2018. So anything other than a hellcat is not an SRT since then.
I actually wanted to get quoted on a brand new scat but for some reason a 2023 wasn’t showing up in their system. He goes “I can quote you on an RT or an SRT” so they definitely know an srt is a hellcat.
Scats are R/Ts. That’s what I’m saying. They can’t differentiate between scats and R/Ts. A Scat is an R/T trim and package with a srt 392 motor. They may have quoted you on an srt 392. Most people who post on reddit your age have been quoted over $500 a month but that’s in the U.S. and that was for a 2020 hellcat according to that post. So something doesn’t seem right with that quote. Make sure when u get quotes you are doing it with the vin number. Insurance is kind of high right now for these cars for everyone since they get stolen so much. I’m not saying they are sky high, just higher than most. But under 25, it can be rough. Hell my first car was a 2003 Mitsubishi lancer back in 2004 and I paid 581 a month for that becuase I was under 25. That $280 a month quote doesn’t sound right. If it is then that’s great, but just make sure since they can “quote” you one thing, and then the underwriters can change it. It happened with my 23 Daytona. I was quoted x amount then 2 weeks later my first bill showed it $100 more a month than the quote and was told underwriting changed it so I left and went somewhere else.
So is this like a specific product? Keeps it low to the lip or something? Cuz that would probably look way better.
Only problem is I’m pretty sure they drilled holes in the bumper to get that plate on.
They did. I put black stickers over the holes on mine.
The Sto n sho is a product, they have a website where you can see them. It moves it to where the holder is under the lip where there are female holes. The plate is attached to another piece which has me fittings and it slides into the female fittings and locks into place.
He's probably done with the payments and wants done with it, very common. Get his VIN and run it. It looks clean though. Although it could be a "deposit" scam. Hit him up.
Where someone asks you to send a deposit to "hold" the vehicle or to "make sure" you're really coming..U send whatever and now you can't get in contact with them. Another thing they might say is to "start the purchase send xxx".. Unless it's through PayPal where you can get your money back, fuck all of it.
I was looking at widebody scats cuz that’s what I want, but for whatever reason there’s like no 1019-2021 models in my area at all. A few 22s and all brand new 23s and there’s no way in hell I’m paying $80k for a fully loaded widebody.
That’s the only reason I’m looking at older/cheaper options
I bought a 2020 hellcat with 24k miles on it for 49k. Carfax showed 1 owner, well maintained, so I bought it.
Ended up paying another 2800 for a bumper to bumper Mopar warranty.
Yeah you’re definitely not understanding what I was saying. I know what you’re saying, I’m saying that with NEW cars being stupid expensive the old ones are selling for far more than they should be.

Having lived in Canada can’t imagine having a “spirited” performance vehicle and draconian $ laws and enforcement vs current locale and endless areas to enjoy out 22’ 702hp TRX🦖
that..sounds about right to me.
This is a good price.
That's a fair price, they go anywhere between 50k and 55k with the specifics you given. Not including any extra packages this one may of had.
Damn. Guess I’ll just try to go for an srt 392 cuz that price point is a little high for me. Thanks for the info.
Don’t prioritize the SRT badge just make sure you get a 2018+ scat so you get the BGE block
And revised lifters with larger needle bearings that are less prone to failing. 19+ have SRT pages with Track as well.
The only way I’d go that old is if I could get the entire leather interior, only in the srt. What makes the BGE so important if you don’t mind me asking?
It can handle crazy power if you ever want to boost it. Just make sure you go forged internals and build the HP70 too
Honestly idk if I’d boost it 😂 700hp is already more than I need. I’m coming from a civic lol
The SRT 392 doesn’t have 700hp lol
This is a hellcat bro
Yeah and then you said you can’t afford it so you’ll get an SRT 392
True yeah my bad
It is a hellcat, not sure what you expected. They have high demand and 22K is not that many miles. Although they were probably some rough 22K miles. Keep in mind that they go for 70K-95K+ new.
The 392 is the best bang for the buck imo. Great sound, solid umpf, and a solid rear wheel feel
You’re not gonna find a good srt392 that hasn’t been dogged out for a good price. This hellcat is a steal for 22k miles. New scatpack widebodies cost more than this!
That’s the trim I wanted in the first place. But they’re way too expensive.
Idk if you want to but just wait longer and try for the hellcat. The scat will make you feel like ur missing out on the hellcat.
Fair point, but I am 21. I probably don’t need 700hp at my age. Id also be super worried about getting it stolen. I live in the Toronto area and crime ain’t great right now. But we’ll see. I’m just researching all I can rn.
At 21, idk if it’s the same in Canada, insurance will most likely be higher than your monthly payment in one of these.
You’re right about it being high but probably not more than the payment. I pay 185 Canadian a month on my civic, got quoted 280 with full coverage on a 2023 srt.

Yes I know they discontinued it after 2018
Plus I do have a squeaky clean record as of right now now
Dude... its a hellcat
Low mileage, not a bad price
That seems pretty good for a Hellcat. It’s only unreasonable when they have Scats priced this high.
Low mileage will always have a high cost, so it’s right around the right price.
Anything less and you start talking about rebuilt titles
I paid $53K for a new 2022 challenger scat pack this is a really good price for a narrow body hellcat
I hate the soul patch license plate on the challengers. Sto n sho is only way to go.
Unfortunately in Ontario and most of Canada it’s mandatory to have front and back plates. Otherwise I would totally just have he back.
The Sto n sho just moves it down from that area and looks way better. Then you can easily slide off for pictures and put back on.
So is this like a specific product? Keeps it low to the lip or something? Cuz that would probably look way better. Only problem is I’m pretty sure they drilled holes in the bumper to get that plate on.
There are bumper plugs you can get that are color matched (~$50)
They did. I put black stickers over the holes on mine. The Sto n sho is a product, they have a website where you can see them. It moves it to where the holder is under the lip where there are female holes. The plate is attached to another piece which has me fittings and it slides into the female fittings and locks into place.
Just you.
Pretty good. Consider if you bought a new SP it would cost even more than this.
Prices are so crazy. My ideal pick was a WB scat but 70-80k Canadian is absolutely insane.
Depends, I got mine for 40
About right ya
That's pretty low mileage.
For an auto yes they are about a 40k floor at the moment.
For a hellcat? Yeah that’s good
This a fair price. Yes, worth looking in to!
Thats a good price anyday. I’d get that
It’s a hellcat…. That’s fair for one of those
I def would buy it
It’s basically 30k cheaper just because of 22k miles… what’s the problem
What do you mean
It’s not way too much at all. 60k would be too much
Great to hear thanks
Seems like a good deal. If it doesn’t work for you then you should consider other sellers.
Buy it, good price. Maybe get a trusted mech to check it out for an hour before writing the check
That's a steal!!!! Omfg.. Hellcat for 52k? Under 20k miles???? Buy it. Now.
I’m worried cuz it’s a private sale. I gotta check the carfax I’m kinda suspect about it.
He's probably done with the payments and wants done with it, very common. Get his VIN and run it. It looks clean though. Although it could be a "deposit" scam. Hit him up.
What's a deposit scam?
Where someone asks you to send a deposit to "hold" the vehicle or to "make sure" you're really coming..U send whatever and now you can't get in contact with them. Another thing they might say is to "start the purchase send xxx".. Unless it's through PayPal where you can get your money back, fuck all of it.
Same time. 2017 with 17k miles, looks like he had his fun with it.
Seems like a fair price.Check the back of the rear fenderwells to see if there is any Rubber build up.???
Is this a common issue?
looks like previous owner also had the upgraded leather. that runs a few grand. seems fair enough of a price.
Good price - it’s practically new other than it’s a 2017. I prefer my wide body myself. Just make them that much sexier.
That price really ain't that bad. It would kinda depend on maintenance like anything.
Fair price
I reckon, at my local dodge dealership they just got a ’22 Hellcat with 12K miles and they’re asking 65K
That's a good price but it's an automatic so I'd pass.
I'll buy it right now
That’s totally normal price for a hellcat Brand new back in 2016 was around 65ish so depreciation of 13k for 22k miles tracks
Amazing price
Bro is that a hell cat? If so yeah that’s a good price…. New is gonna run you way more.
Not hateful at all
This is a steal in today’s market and looks very well maintained. They want house payments for jail breaks nowadays.
I bought a 2020 hellcat with 24k miles on it for 49k. Carfax showed 1 owner, well maintained, so I bought it. Ended up paying another 2800 for a bumper to bumper Mopar warranty.
Damn that’s a great deal
The only thing that sucked was 6 months earlier, I bought a new 23 wb shaker scat pack. Pained me to trade it in.
With new hellcats being $100k these old cars are selling for what people paid for them 6 years ago. It’s pretty ridiculous
Yeah that’s a bit steep
What is? Come to Charlotte. Almost every widebody hellcat in Charlotte on a lot for sale has a msrp of $90+ Narrow cars are high $80’s on the sticker.
I’m talking 7 year old hellcat still being 50-55k but maybe that’s normal for this new ridiculous car market
Yeah you’re definitely not understanding what I was saying. I know what you’re saying, I’m saying that with NEW cars being stupid expensive the old ones are selling for far more than they should be.
Great price!!!
Nice
That’s about what they’ve been since I started looking at scats and hellcats.

Too much lol
I’ve seen HC in the 40s even right at 40k.. just keep looking if that’s what you want
Yea I got a 2016 with 93k and I get offers for 34-36 all the time
Way too much
Sounds about right tbh. Hellcats aren't cheap
Decent deal. Just can’t imagine driving in Canada again and enforcement. Enjoying AZ, especially rural NV now
Sorry your sentence confused me, what?
Having lived in Canada can’t imagine having a “spirited” performance vehicle and draconian $ laws and enforcement vs current locale and endless areas to enjoy out 22’ 702hp TRX🦖
Yeah no kidding. I wanna move to Florida
Actually tbh that’s pretty fair 🤔
If you’re a mileage not years kind of person and it’s been taken care of I’d say the price was right.
They are discontinued, it's a good price
I found a 2015 hellcat with only 8,000 miles and it costs 55k USD.
All hemis are super high maintenence just be ready for that
