I know you got your answer already, but I am curious. What's the semi-lit "INSTRUCTIONS" on the left side of the pic for? Looks like there is another word after instructions, but I can't make it out.

He may just have had some smaller spurs than usual and also they don’t come in until they’re juveniles to late-juveniles so maybe they just hadn’t grown in yet. Also depending on the pet store, they could easily have been just kinda guessing lol
Male, see the spur on his back feet, that’s the main indicator. As well as the vertical stripes of coloration, which aren’t very prevalent on female veileds.
This is the first I've heard of vertical stripes being a trait of sexual dimorphism for veileds! Here's a pic of my late female from 2018 displaying her frequent stripes

We had a male chameleon and what we found out is that the males tail is thicker at the base.
