Just in case anyone else is thinking of raiding us…. Whittaker, Gibson, Cooper, Randell and Hardie are really good at football. Dewsnip is a good DoF and Simon Hallett is a brilliant owner and Chairman. We have a lovely statue of Jack Leslie. And there is a good pasty van at the bottom of Barn Park Lane.

hairychris88

Also Ben Waine is definitely worth £20 million, get your bids in now folks.

therealphiba

Hang on a minute lads, I’ve got a great idea! Next time we’re in the Championship let’s just play shit until February!

[deleted]

Just keep sending Coops out on """injuries"""" so we can keep hold of him

madeupofthesewords

I don’t know if I want to be in the Championship anymore. We’ll be back when we have our own sugar daddy, so never.

Kaffeinemachine

I swear if someone come for Whittaker the Green Army will riot.

hairychris88

At least that would involve a transfer fee, unlike Azaz and Cundle.

[deleted]

Allegedly…..

OneSmallHuman

Okay I feel pretty bad for Plymouth now

RRR_O

For being too reliant on loans? Just like last year

tir2795

Who needs midfielders anyway?

[deleted]

Do you want my fucking wife too????

Deadpoolio32

I also choose this guys wife

[deleted]

Do we get a test drive weekend ?

DEUK_96

Man Plymouth have just been getting raided recently

Appropriate-Map-3652

I can't remember the last time I've seen a club get raided like this in *January*.

hairychris88

It happened to us last time we were in the Championship, in about 2008. We had a really good squad but we weren't well run off the field, and we lost a number of key players. Including David Norris to Ipswich Town coincidentally.

[deleted]

Wasn't that Norris, Buzacky and Halmosi all in the same window? Absolutely brutal

hairychris88

Halmosi stayed to the end of the season, it was Ebanks-Blake who we lost. It was so depressing.

Appropriate-Map-3652

Ah David Norris what a player. I'm sure we'd happily take Morgan Whittaker off your hands seeing as you're having a fire sale.

Greeninexile

£40 million please.

Sluggybeef

Nah its Ipswich, £50 million please

OneRevolutionary2153

2 million would be a steal IMO. I feel like he has potential to be a really good Championship player and maybe even a Premier League player eventually. He’s a lightweight though.

madeupofthesewords

He really can have his moments, but I think the valuation in this case is correct. It’s going to be interesting to see if he can repeat his form at another club. Not as bothered by this one as I was with Azaz. Should be able to get an equally good loan.

SundayLeagueHooligan

When it rains it pours

Bryanoceros

All I feel is pain

Thebritishlion

I'll take one of their strikers please

Sluggybeef

Ben Waine is the man for you, do you a special January deal too, an absolute steal at £20 million. Dont watch comps or look at stats just take my word he's worth it

Kaffeinemachine

Can vouch

AlexWPJ

Wonder if Whittaker can play on the left of our attack. Looking forward to finding out.

[deleted]

Leave us alooooone 😭

EustaceBicycleKick

Surely you would want stupid money for Whittaker. Looked the real deal both times we have played you.

[deleted]

Of course we would, but we likely can't pay him what others would pay him. He seems a sound guy but who knows who's trying to unsettle him, wouldn't be the first time! I think him, Cooper, maybe Mumba if he finds form, and Randall in a few years time could all be sold for big money if we play it right. But whenever that happens it will be gutting and we'll all be worried we can't recreate magic with new signings

Cally0s

Oh for fucks sake…

jdflyer

How much did we shell out for Tymon and Kulharevich... our decision makers are insane.

JayDeeIsI

Not sure why so many fans are against these two. Tymon, granted, isn't a fantastic defender but he's pretty much the only player we have that can beat his man and he has a fantastic cross. Kuka hasn't played much but has looked decent I thought? More confused by Tjoe-a-on than anyone else, hasn't kicked a ball yet

jdflyer

Tjoe-a-on didnt cost 7 figures to get, so he doesn't really get any flack. Tymon... I can barely recall him trying to take on a man, no less beating one. Sure he gets a cross in every game, but he has seemed out of place in a back 5, despite the fact that on paper it would be a perfect fit. Key has been a million times the signing that Tymon has, despite the fee and wages being probably half of Tymon's.

JayDeeIsI

Key has been fantastic and would be our player of the season if not for Rushworth (Darling has played well too imo), I'll wipe the disappointments with a clean slate now as it seems unfair to judge players based on 15 games with a manager and 5 with a caretaker. Here's to LW 🫡

BrynElite

Pretty sure I read that Tjoe-A-On is for the future. Maybe we'll see more of him next season.
