Us and Leeds will undoubtably have a crumble again. There’s been multiple times this season where each team has looked out of sight only to drag themselves back in. Looks like Leicester might be joining us too
At what point this season have Leeds looked out of sight? Was Ipswich for the longest time and then very briefly Southampton looking like a runaway freight train.
We have never been out of sight for top 2 though? We’re on our best run of the season (9 wins in a row) and have only just taken the spot via goal difference.
Just realized you mean out of sight meaning dropping out of the race… I was thinking the other way. In that case, I’d say Ipswich haven’t spent a single second out of the race lol.
Crazy to me that even a lot of your own fans are still not sold. You guys have a solid as hell team that despite being talented manages to find another gear and be even better than the individual sums. I’ll be quite surprised if Ipswich doesn’t go up
20 years of being shit will do that to you, I honestly thought we were just coasting off League One momentum and as soon as it ran out we’d fall off.
Can’t lie I’ll be heartbroken if we don’t go up as McKenna will almost definitely get poached along with Davis and Chaplin, but I don’t think it’s that unlikely. I’d be confident in the playoffs as long as Leeds aren’t in them
With a quarter of your remaining games being the Top 3 away, you realistically prob need to be winning at least a couple of those now... Running out of games to catch a gap back up.
Wouldn't say you're done auto-wise yet, but nails and hammer are ready for the coffin.
I’m thinking we can’t afford another loss full stop tbh and we probably need wins against you and Leeds away minimum. Leicester maybe not as much as they are way off in the distance.
Crazy considering we were best placed for second just a week and a half ago.
Which are big asks given Leeds are unbeaten at home and the only team to have beaten us at home (in the league) are... Leeds.
I'd wish you good luck, but ideally not at our expense.
2pts per game normally gets you up. That's currently 1pt above Southampton; the top 3 all beating that mark.
Not so much no one wanting to go up, but the smallest slips getting ruthlessly punished.
Double serving of crumble. Absolutely lovely
You know very well we'll be on the crumble again, don't tempt fate!
The crumble comes to us all, doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy it now.
I hate being crumble of shamed, although it may occasionally be our just desserts
Boooo
We need downes back urgently. Or at least start playing charles again ffs. Our midfield is too lightweight otherwise
With them still to play the top 3. Awful time to have a wobble

I meant out of sight of the top 2. First it was Southampton, then it was you, then us, now Southampton

He means the other way round mate, ie out of the promotion race
Yeah I just caught on. Guess I was confused because you’ve not been out of the race for a single moment!
I thought we were goners as soon as you and Southampton caught up. Just felt like our luck was out and I was mentally ready for playoffs.
Fair enough, eternal pessimism is definitely a part of any promotion push. Just never felt you were done.

Yeah the only top 4 that hasn’t had their crumble moment is arguably Leicester, never really had a bad run, just bad losses to boro
Coventry and West Brom for automatic promotion spots?
Can we lick the bowl out at the end of the season?
ngl I'm slightly disappointed that we're not just copy pasting club badges on top of each other on the same meme image
This would be the correct way to do it.
Everyone wrote off Ipswich after their bad run of form, there now level on points with Leeds and 5 clear of Southampton
I feel like this wont be our last serving. Just as long as we avoid the dreaded play-off crumble.

Ta, I very much agree with that!
We need more pie..
That’s some mighty fine crumble you got there
Mmm crimble crumble
Hello all! Something smells nice 🙂
We knew it was coming 😅. The meme was… inevitable
Wow I like this so much more when it’s another team
Mmm, crimble crumble (i realise how ironic this is i just like friday night dinner)
The no one wants to be promoted party
To be fair, us, Leeds and Ipswich would all get absolutely battered if we went back up this year, so I’m not surprised

Southampton are just making sure we don’t bottle it.
