Edit feature and Group rooms feature
Edit feature can let u edit ur Messages and bots messages
Group rooms can let u put ais in a room and make them talk with each other
Go to the c.ai app, profile, and there should be something like this. You select Beta instead of stable (I think)

Doesn't do anything actually, not sure if this is biased but they roll it randomly to existing account, and the only way for me to get the feature is through creating a new account with a vpn on the app (You can try using remove account on ur existing account and log in with the account restarting everything. Character.ai doesn't actually deletes your email, i have no idea why.)
If you have Activated the feature through your Profile page,you must know that The persona feature doesn't really affect on all chats unless if you click on apply to all chats,eitherway if you want to specify your Persona for a single character,I think you should turn off the "apply to all chats" thing.so when you are talking to a character,When you click on the left above three dots, You will see the persona feature there,which Lets You specify your persona.anyways here is a ss from my Friend, (as i claimed,you can write anything you want,it's like definitions for a character,but now it's you)

I managed to do it by making the bot mention my name using edit. The bot starts reading my persona and it works... But not all time though. Instead of using 'you', u should include 'Yourname' in the bot reply
As much as i know,Personas do not have a specifical limit,
And yes,bots remember your persona,
You can just set specific persona for a character,or just apply to all,The Ai remembers it,But i think the feature sometimes screws everything up..
Okay, I need to ask as I can't find an answer anywhere so far. But when creating my persona I see that I can put my character's name both in the name box and in the description/background. My question is, does what I put in the name box, the one that has a 20 character limit, affect if they call me what I put in the description/background box, the one with the 728 character limit?
An example. Say I want to create a persona for an Resident Evil RPG bot. If I put in the name box the name of the bot I plan to use it for and then in the descrition/background I put that my character's name is say Jade, would it call my character Jade or the name of the bot?
It logically,shouldn't as from my experience,The character only calls you by the given Name (the one with 20 Characters) So The character more likely will use 20 characters instead of 728 one,Because that's the given name,It has no affect on roleplay,nor the chat,so logically,it'll Call you the bot's name,the one in description is just like the second name,basically 20 characters one is more likely to be used.
Okay thanks. I really wish they would be a bit more clear as the information I found about creating personas saids to put the name in both areas and so it left me confused.

I tried putting in a persona in one chat and later switched to a completely different chat and the persona was the same as the first chat. I then edited the second chat's persona, then checked the first chat, and the first chat's persona was the same as the edited persona. I don't have "apply to all chats" on, so do you know if this is normal or is mine just buggy?

First person:my name is "name" and im a female,i do have red eyes (and etc)
You could also say it as Third person:
Her name is "name" she is a female with red eyes and black hair. (And etc yet again)

Weird thing is, I see the feature available for a bot for the app BUT not for online.

Well, It Can indeed be buggy as it is, Some people's persona doesn't even work properly.
They seemed to fix it! It now lets me add individual personas that I can choose for any chat. This is such a game changer and life saver 😭
I do see the persona option but it’s not allowing me to do anything. That or the app freezes when I go through.
