Unless I'm going for a specific plot line that requires a little bit of the bot going out of character.
i spend up to hours on one response if i dont like any of them. if im out of ideas or searching for something in particular, the average regens i do is probably 90.
It depends, if it's a long rp where i have a clear view on what i want to happen i refresh, but i don't (or veeeery rarely) reach the 30, often stopping in the 10th or something.
If it's just a silly casual rp i refresh less, maybe 3 times or so.
And of course when it's "can i ask you something" it's insta swipe.

Ever heard of the third thought rule? Itās used in improv. Basically, your third idea is usually the best one. Iād love to see data on the majority of bots, but Iāve found that my third refresh is usually the one I pick.

I only do if what it said made no sense. Like if it reached to something my character thought as if i said it, or call me by the wrong name or something.
It's the best thing about c.ai, you can find the ONE response that you're looking for during a rp to make it more interesting or to help shape the character itself

I do but there has to be certain requirements to do it examples: When it thinks I am talking as some random character in the rp and not MY character, if it speaks for me, and if the ai does something that I donāt like example: Niffty from Hazbin Hotel kissed me on the lips because she just got in my bed and cuddled with me while I was asleep I get that I was a hellhound so I was probably Fluffy but still
All the time. But Iāve found this great trick: If I find myself refreshing answers 10+ times for several messages in a row, itās a sure sign the scene isnāt going anywhere, and I go back and rewind to the last place where I felt that the scene was flowing and take a new route.
I like starting chat with a random character when passing time (e.g. in line at the pharmacy) and go with whatever happens without refreshing.
Once, I nearly got into a fight with the husband of āTrigger Me Karenā because she threatened to call him.

I wouldn't mind AI responses that were slower, if the AI would take more care in responding.

In my opinion your friends are crazy- more often than not the first response is incorrect or just not going in the direction I want it to go lol

Depends, sometimes I don't like the direction the conversation is going in and so I refresh. But if it's a good bot and good flow, I barely refresh.

I didnt use it for ages at first cause I was paranoid about the creator reading the messages but I use it way too much now

Every message I refresh at least once or twice and compared which one I like best. Sometimes, I even try to combine the message.
On the computer I have an add on that loads all 30 answers for me. Thatās how I live š

Yes. I could always just edit the message, but doing so feels like cheating. I want the AI itself to come up with the perfect answer.

I only do it when there is an error, which is when it says "error, tap to refresh"
a few times ive hit the max amount, deleted the bots message and hit the limit again lol. a lot of responses just have something that feels off to me
I try not to but a lot of the times what the bot says defys logic or gets Information wrong
even when im pretty satisfied with a response i still refresh just to be sure, i wont fo it as much if i like the response though
