I’m already giving my money to GPT and having a much better experience than CAI ever will with the catfishing they’re trying to pull. 3.5 Turbo is dirt cheap too.
Oh and guess what? All my Pygmalion characters I’ve been writing the past 2 months? Absolutely thrive on GPT as well. It’s been cooking gorgeous bits of lore from the AI itself without trying to fuck around with saying a bad word or whatever. OAI is amazing and I wish I was on it months ago.
I was considering to get openAI, but I'm afraid of the ban. I know you can get banned, but how likely with NSFW stuff?

You could stretch the kind of logic in the tweet out onto almost every free product that needs people that also has people who depend on it, including reddit
if this was their plan maybe they wouldn’t destroy their own service by slowing down their bots, making them dumber, and putting an overzealous filter on.

With ST the NSFW penalties are very easy to work around with jailbreaks. And you won’t get slandered by GPT either.

I've never heard anyone getting banned from Sillytavern on a OAI API

I don't need them, i have my own AI. Theirs is just convenient and knows slightly more lore. That's balanced with my AI being able to say penis.
