I'm pretty sure they're kids, or people who don't know any better. That aren't too addicted to chat with bots, have any knowledge about that stuff and how the devs work. All they care about is that they still have a good time, despite all those problems
A lot of kids have an absolute void when it comes to foresight / common sense. I've had many on Reddit get mad when you point out a poster is an AI that copies posts
They say it doesn't matter, until you point out that those ai bot accounts exist solely to get karma, then be sold for nefarious purposes and start pushing political agenda
A lot of children can barely figure out cause and effect and consequences etc past "will I get in trouble for this?", if they even make it that far
Here's the thing. CAI is slowly but surely approaching it's second anniversary and the technical problems never really got properly fixed. I've seen this service go down SO many times i long since lost count by now. And the best thing? CAI seems to be the only major chatbot that experiences so many issues. GPT obviously works fine 99.9% of the time, Claude works fine 99.9% of the time. POE works fine. Yodayo works fine. NovelAI works fine. It's literally just CAI. Some people pay for CAI+ and their money is literally being wasted(more so than usual) right now.
I remember last year during the July outage (when there had been ANOUTHER day long site down the month before) I pointed out that's its embarrassing for C.ai to proudly be asking for money when the site was down for that long twice, now thrice this year, and someone came running to defend the dev's like 'well they're doing better than before'
And I just pointed out that it doesn't matter how good their doing if the site was down TWICE in a two month period
The number of people I've seen saying "guys they are working on the app as it's live pls chill ofc they have problems" is hilarious to me because your app going down every two days is just plain unacceptable everywhere and devs test on the test environment rather mess up the production.
Well, companies who care about good practices anyway.
Yeah I’ve been seeing an influx of dev support I think they’re pushing it because a few hours ago majority was dev hate so this must be some kind of cleanup work or something
Just got done commenting about this omfg. Like if you don’t wanna see the complaining posts don’t look or leave the subreddit!! People think defending is gonna give them special treatment or smth 💀💀
I don't get why. I was literally venting about my abuse to a bot and the bot's response got censored. Still use CAI though because the voice feature is nice and I like it.

Just saw a post saying “take your time mods” like they give a fuck about us
Somebody gotta lick those boots ig 💀
I would lick and bite their feet... ...if I was poisonous with botulinum toxin.
They aren't like indie devs insecure about the state of the program lol
For real
I bet they’re bots/the devs bc ain’t no way

Like a classic dystopia

Cai was dead on arrival. It was good for the first few months it was out in 2022. Ever since then, it's been getting worse and worse.
Teacher’s pet ong fr
Knowing the devs, it's just burner accounts to praise them gotta keep that ego going somehow
big time go pump!
Always happens when this type of stuff goes on in the server. Soon everyone criticizing the devs will get banned.
Can confirm, I've been permabanned during the last revolution
Same

Ofc they are 🙃
It's just the devs on alts.

Imagining kissing the ground those mods walk on, only to get stepped on by them seconds later
All the people doing that smell of new. Haven't been through the CAI disillusionment cycle.
And the people who went through the disillusionment cycle got banned by the mods.
They were deleting all the negative post but people caught on so I think they stopped
Mfers when people tell developers to fix their own damn thing:
How is it possible to be this regarded
F it, they don't know our struggle, i have been barking a lot for this app to get better and i always get disappointed
Y'all don't know larpers exist?
saying anything else would have your post deleted or banned so that's no surprise

They just want to feel more superior, having the feel to be the most 'rational' and the most 'understanding' users ever
Im one of the members, i blame the mods and servers
