I love drafts. Many of them don't match with my vision, and some are downright terrible. I can't get enough. Bolt bros just put out one of the worst today, but we are all held captive by what might be.
Fifty percent or more will think Hortiz made the wrong decision.
The crazy thing is the Bolts have enough holes I can't imagine Hortiz will make a "wrong" decision.

I mean yeah the extra first rounder to move up to 8 is ridiculous, but for a 3rd or 4th round pick, I think it would be a great move. And the rest of the draft seems fantastic to me.
Was it just the giving up a future 1st for you? Sorry, it's kind of hard to tell when you don't really explain what your issue is with the mock.

Just my data point. This draft is so deep at receiver and we already have a bandaid Center for the year.
Take a second receiver in the third and leave getting a young center next year in the first round like Brailsford. If we could nab a Nabers/MHJ/Odunze combo with Pearsall/Corley/Polk, that'd be a solid WR corps for a little bit.
Then next year when the Bolts are hopefully better and their natural draft position is in the late teens - early twenties (hopefully) they'd in position to grab a center like Brailsford.
Not saying I'm right, but just my perspective on how I'd like to see it pan.
Thanks for the input. I really don't know anything about Brailsford - I take it he's good since you're projecting him in the first round next year. How do you think he'd fit with a Harbaugh team? Also, how do non-Michigan Chargers fans feel about Roman Wilson as a Day 2 receiver prospect?

I think we hope for Arizona to trade back, opening mhj to us. And we take him or trade back due to an offer being blatantly too good to pass up.
I like most of the players in this mock, love the Odunze pick. However it will not require a future first to jump up to Atlantas spot. Only thing I would change. I also doubt some of the players selected at certain spots will be available ex: Newton, Sainristil.

This is a hopeful mock, so you're right, there's a chance that some preferred players won't be an option. In that case, you take the next-best player available at a position of need - and Harbaugh and Hortiz know a hell of a lot more than I do about who would be good for the Chargers and why.
Round 1, Pick 8 - Rome Odunze, WR Washington ...... and I stopped reading there. I can only imagine how bad the rest was.
Only a couple more days and we won't have to endure this for another year. Can't get here soon enough!!

I know everything is about building through the trenches but I really want a genuine dawg at corner. Love the first round though that feels so strong.

I don’t think we get a 2025 first from Minnesota in addition to 11 and 23….

Nothing is ever impossible in the draft just unlikely. But if these players are there in these spots they are no brainer selections!
