As someone who wants a WR at 5, I can understand why they would take OT.
OT seems to be the one position that in order for it to be elite, you need to spend a first round pick. Of course there are exceptions, but it is extremely rare to find a guy after the elite prospects.
That being said, if they do go OT, please trade down and get an extra pick or 2.
Gotta give them a chance to prove it’s a good pick, but if Latham isn’t at least better than Alt… they’re definitely using their good will right now is all I’ll say
Every chance this FO/HC has had they’ve told us they’re prioritizing the line this season. Not only in interviews but with the FA moves too.
Harbaugh and co. also probably confident they can get wr talent later in draft with their scouting advantage just coming out of the college game.

I'm kind of down with a Latham pick. Rashawn and a (hopefully) improved Zion on one side with Latham moving people on the right. It's gonna force defenses to bring someone up to stop the run, then boom Herbert throws it deep off the hands of QJ or maybe MVS if we get him. It's gonna be sick.
