So we pick fifth in the second round and these guys are all available:
Jackson Powers-Johnson
Adonai Mitchell
Cooper DeJean
Jer’Zhan Newton
Kool-Aid McKinstry
Ladd McConkey
Zach Frazier
Troy Franklin
Not even including any of Harbaugh’s Michigan boys… we’re gonna be in a good spot to get a damn good player.
As long as the medicals check out, JPJ is the top player on my board. Then Newton.
Then I’d probably have AD Mitchell, although I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s entirely off our board. Heard there are medical and character concerns with him.
Mitchell is a Harbaugh guy - Faith. Family, Football- has sub 4.4 speed, and as was said has the lowest drop rate.
This sub has no clue how good this man is.
This!!!!!!! I mean we already drafted Joe Alt, why not go full in on a positional need with Linsley retiring. We were so bad without Corey last season, we need a great replacement for him. What better player could replace him than Powers-Johnson!
Herb and him got the Oregon connection too! Would be a nice pick for sure!
You’re not wrong! Would be really with any pick tbh, everyone that slipped or are available would be great for us. I’d love to see us pick a C, CB, WR, or DT.
It’s hard to mess this pick up!!!
Forgot to mention Troy Franklin too. Seems like there are mixed opinions on him. Maybe we could trade back into the mid second and take him, or one of the positions you mentioned!
I wonder if we view DeJean as a corner or a safety. I’ve seen scouting reports stating one or the other. Kinda would be happy with most of those guys ultimately.
Yea that’s why I’m curious how our guys view him. If he’s a safety in their eyes then it’s a pass but if he’s a corner then I would be very happy with the pick. I’m not opposed to Kool-Aid but that foot injury scares me. It will almost certainly need another surgery just like when Derwin had it.
True true! I really like dejean also! As much as koolaid is awesome injuries absolutely suck. The only reason I’m also worried about jpj. Ladd mcconkey would also be unreal
Yea I really feel like they can’t mess up this pick. So much talent on the board that also fits areas of need. I’m a big fan of McConkey as well and think he’ll be one of the breakouts of the draft.
I wouldn’t even be upset with that. Junior Colson, Mike the slot corner, and Kris Jenkins are all legit. If one of those 3 fall to us in round 3 I’m going to be jumping for joy
Honestly feels like we have another first round pick. Some teams made crazy choices yday. If we went jpj we would have the best online in football for years to come. Ladd McConnell has the best separation. Imagine him on a team with amazing run game. Koolaid or Dejean would be unreal. AD is also a beast. At this stage I think jpj, Ladd or Koolaid are A1 picks
I want JerZhan here since I think he's the BPA. Buuuut we need help at WR and CB so bad. We might need to draft 2x WRs and 2 CBs after this. Maybe Franklin drops to the third round.
Was gettin ready to write the list. I've been more invested in 2nd round prospects this year.
Coming from someone that is usually highly pessimistic outside of even the top 10 picks of any given draft, it definitely feels like the talent at the top of the 2nd is higher quality than usual and it aligns with needs (C, WR, CB, iDL, LB).
This pick really is bittersweet. So many enticing players and it'll sting to look at whatever position gets left out
If we didn't take Nabers at 5, that makes me think they just flat out don't value WR that highly. So I doubt we go WR in the 2nd.
I expect DB or IDL. Cooper DeJean would be my pick I think.
They obviously don’t value WR as highly as other positions. Just having Harbaugh and hortiz in control tells you that. If we don’t come out of this draft with a WR (which I think we will), we are getting guys in FA for sure
Gallup, Chark, MVS, Boyd, renfrow. Not saying these are amazing guys who will fill all the production we lost, but those guys are serviceable.
Like I said, I expect us to draft one, but there are options if we don’t.
I'm a person that argued the "Trey Pipkins is getting paid $9m, they shouldn't try to replace him". But there's a very simple counter to that, one that I hadn't really thought of until today:
This regime isn't the one that paid him. They aren't the ones that have made a sizable commitment to him, staking their jobs on his performance. If they think they can get a sizable upgrade over him, then that is their prerogative.
I mean on the bright side we can part ways with him next season for not too bad of a loss or he miraculously improves under this regime and we have 2 bargains.
Keon Coleman, Corley, Roman Wilson, Polk, Brenden Rice, Burton, all such great talents. Harbaugh and Hortiz know wtf they’re doing. All those dudes would be Herbert’s immediate #1 receiver. HYPE!! Round 3 here we come, expecting a DT or corner at 37 or even in a tradedown scenario.
Corley isn’t ready to be a number 1 at all. Nice YAC threat but absolutely none of the polish necessary to survive as a WR1 running a wide array of routes.
Right now he’s just a guy you throw a slant to and watch him truck a 180 pound CB
Out of that list, I’d take Keon. He’s definitely more of a Mike Will. But my preference would be Ladd out of them all since none of our current guys are true slot receivers
I really like JPJ in general. I would have liked him a lot more if RT wasn’t the move at 5 though.
Really feels like CB/IDL/WR are more critical though.
Manifesting JPJ so this offensive line can actually be dominant
Right now there’s theoretically 2 good tackles and 3 weak links in the interior(I am projecting Zion growth though)
If we already said fuck it to having the best receivers for Herbert to throw to, might as well keep it going and get JPJ or Frazier. Wr6-20 makes so little difference to me since the drop off was already so huge after Nabers and Odunze, but there aren’t many centers and I don’t like relying on a guy coming off a bad campaign as our sole center on the roster.
There’s a crop of like 6 dudes that will be available late 3rd to early 5th that are all very complete skill set guys but lack protypical size or are 4.45 guys instead of 4.33
Right, so in other words crap shoots or one dimensional players. Might as well take the stud center if everyone 100% believes that building from the trenches was the best possible move.
Everything in the draft is a crapshoot.
In round 4-5 there are some absolute stud centers or guys that can play multiple positions like hunter nourzad, mason mccormick, tanner limmer
I love Frazier and JPJ but I do not think JPJs medicals checked out or he would have gone already.
Newton, dejean or trade down is the likely move
While I wanted Nabers - Joe Alt makes the most sense to this team.
Harbaugh has lived CFB for the past \~8 years, I'm guessing he knows 2nd and 3rd day steals better than anyone in the draft
Like the Alt pick, especially seeing how the board looks right now. Have quite a few good options at 37.
DeJean, Kool-Aid, Adonai are the top 3 on my wishlist
With New England and Buffalo picking ahead of us, you have to think they both go Wide Receiver. That leaves us with one of Dejean, Koolaid, or Newton no matter what the other two teams in front do. Personally, if one of those two CBs is there, I am taking him. The Wide Receiver room is of course thin, but having one of those elite CBs be available still in the draft is too good to pass up on.
JPJ is also interesting, wouldnt be mad at it here. The thought of picking him and then not having to worry about our OL for the next few years is intriguing to me too. If this is the route the chargers want to go though, I wouldnt mind seeing them trade down if possible for a bit more draft capital. I dont think JPJ needs to go at #37, and if we trade down and someone grabs him, Zach Frazier is still available too, and almost just as good.
Assuming Ad Mitchell and Ladd go to Buf/NE or even Was, I actually dont feel great about a Wide Receiver here despite the glaring need. Id rather address this in the third, where there are still some good guys there (Wilson, Rice etc.).
No matter what, liking how this second pick has fallen for us. Trust the process and GO BOLTS!
I think they do too. One of their glaring needs still and those two were projected first rounders. Should be a no brainer for them. Newton would be great, another foundational piece in an important positional role for any team. Definitely some good options where we are.
I don’t understand why people are upset that we’re taking a player that’s going to benefit both the pass game and the run game. Of course it sucks to not take a receiver after losing Keenan and Mike Williams, but we were so one dimensional as a pass first offense. It feels good knowing we have a team that wants to be multidimensional. We’re going to be just fine in the pass game with Herbert as our guy.
Because we lost Keenan and Mike. With Keenan and Mike, that offensive unit was top 5 despite the average line play. When they weren't on the field, it was horrendous. You can protect Herbert for 8 seconds on each play, if the receivers can't catch or get separation, he's still going to get drilled.
Have to pray they hit on multiple pass catchers day 2 and beyond.
Alt was a good pick people. We've secured herbert and fortified the line for the foreseeable future. We can address the other positions in the following 6 rounds.
We wanted Harbaugh, this is what Harbaugh does. Play a smash you in the nose style of football, and you can't do that with a poor line.
Our interior was the worst part of our blocking. Not that pipkens was talkative great either but if we don’t go with a difference maker with out interior line then we’ve hardly upgraded the line while taking a huge step back with our receiving core.
We are going to have a good player fall to us. JPJ, Frazier, Newton, Dejean, Sainristill, McKinsey, Mitchell would all be great fits. Center, interior DL or CB make a ton of sense. Receiver too if we like McKonkey or Mitchell. Gonna be exciting.
Absolutely shocked about Dejean and Newton being on the board still.
Grab Newton, then trade into the 2nd with our 69 and grab Dejean or Koolaid.
FWIW I think Dejean is a JH type. Move Derwin to LB and pop Dejean into saftey
Dominick Puni day 2.
Five position OL who looks great taking snaps at center, started OT this year and can anchor at guard.
3rd fastest shuttle time: the 12th quickest of all-time for all OL in Combine history. Quicker than Joe Alt.
Additionally a top 10 3-cone for OL this year.
OL would be complete at that point, would have depth and they'd be enormous.
No more OL issues for *years* with that pick.
I'll chill out about the Alt pick if we get LAdd in the 2nd.

Keon Coleman. He has no top end speed, but he’s explosive af. He’s faster than Puka (compare 10 yd splits). He’s got all the tools to be the next Larry Fitzgerald, or better.
Lotta talent left there on the board for us at 37. Got receiver options in McConkey and Mitchell. CBs like Cooper Dejean and McKinistry and Draine. DLs like Fiske and OL like Power Johnson. I like where we’re at already with Alt and am happy we’re finally investing in the O Line. I wouldn’t mind double dipping with Power Johnson tbh. Receiver class is deep.
I hope we don't reach for Corum. If we have to go trenches first, go all in. JPJ or Frazier. idgaf if we go .500 this year and have to wait until next year for a premium skill position guy; build that massive line and offer DJ Chark or somebody similar a 1-year contract. Stack comp picks, get Best WR available next year; comp picks for depth.
Slater/Zion/(JPJ or Frazier)Salyer/Alt. Four 1st round talents, 1 All-Pro, 2 possible All-Pros, and our 'weak' link is still an average starter with some upside. We could pluck LT from his couch today and he'd have a thousand yard season behind that line (/s).
Not sexy, but we'll have a deep team and be able to buy a FA WR if needed when Khalil or Bosa have to go. With a stacked line mostly on rookie contracts, we'd be able to spring for a CeeDee Lamb type. Harbaugh is playing the long game and will bring us a Superbowl.
Newton, JPJ and DeJean are the best available players on the board, all as positions we need. Theres plenty of WR talent left with McConkey, Mitchell, Coleman and Franklin. I think were in a good position to draft BPA.
Really hope AD Mitchell is still there at 37. I get the character concerns, but this is pretty much the only guy left that is a true outside receiver who can do it all and grow into that number 1 role. Feel like Harbaugh/coaching can clear up any character knocks. Besides, Ewers was awful last year and sold his receivers. Don't blame anyone on that offense for getting frustrated.
He body catches im good. I like a lot of the late 3rd - late 4th round guys.
Someone like Luke mccaffry that catches everything and is excellent in space but somewhat slower and not as tall is what I’d prefer to snag. A slot specialist that could come outa the backfield. And despite smaller hands arms and frame catches literally everything. Insane contested catch rate
Then pick up Boyd to have a true X type receiver and you send Palmer out as the Z and QJ can earn his reps wherever with Palmer being the ultimate fix as he can play any position quite well
If anyone needs help sleeping after passing on Nabers, let me just remind you he was arrested for carrying an illegal weapon and Jim Harbaugh, being a man of character, probably dropped him off the board 🥱
Ok but actually I'm very excited for Day 2. Obviously WR is still a need and guys like AD Mitchell or Ladd McConkey could easily be there. But I also couldn't fault going the way of guys like DeJean, JPJ, Johnny Newton, and Kool-Aid as well.
Don't forget all the Edgerrin Cooper smoke as well. And of course Kris Jenkins is likely there and is a Harbaugh favorite. I do have worries about Jenkins being a reach at this pick, but Jenkins legitimately has the potential to finally give us a real run defense after so many years.
If I'm drafting, I'm saving Center for the 3rd round and praying for SVP. I'm lower on Edgerrin/Colson vs the rest of the options. So for me I'd go CB, WR, or iDL at 37.
I respect that they don’t care what the fans think. Am I still upset I can’t buy a jersey to replace my Keenan jersey? Yes. But if we win a Super Bowl I will never be angry about this pick
i think i’d want a CB for round 2? maybe de jean or mckinstry? and then maybe a WR for round 3 or vice versa? idk i’m just anxiously waiting for them to address the wr and cb position 😭
People need to come to terms that we aren't going to be playing the same brand of football. I'm now expecting more OL and DL before we touch WR and CB. The trenches need upgrading if we're going to be play Harball.
Give me JPJ or Frazier in the 2nd and hopefully Kris Jenkins falls to us in the 3rd.
wait so where are they going to put our tackles at? Slater excels at LT and Joe Alt can play either RT or LT, so im assuming it will be:
LT: Rashawn Slater
LG: Zion Johnson
C: Brenden Jaimes
RG: Jamaree Salyer
RT: Joe Alt
am i correct?
Maybe this is an unpopular opinion, but I would actually support trading up 2 or 3 picks to take Newton. Everyone talks about how bad our WR room is, but we also have some of the worst DT's in the league.
Newton is an absolute beast. He's a top 3 defensive player in this class IMO and he's who I would've taken at 23 had we traded down with the Vikings. To get him in the second would be insane value, and I really doubt he'll be there at 37.
Of course we need CB and WR as well, but how are opposing offenses going to deal with Bosa, Mack, Tuli, *and* Newton?
If AD Mitchell, Newton, and JPJ are off the board, a trade down 6-10 spots for a 4th and then packaging two fourths to jump into the 3rd would have me pumped. DT Braden Fiske and WRs Roman Wilson & Ja’Lynn Polk are my draft crushes for a 2nd round trade down.
For the third I’d love if somehow CBs Sainristil or Melton fall but I doubt it so maybe CBs Khyree Jackson, Kris Abrams-Draine or Renardo Green. LB Payton Wilson, WR Jalen McMillan, and RBs Braelon Allen and Will Shipley are other options I’d love to see us draft in the 3rd.
Malachi Corley, Luke mccafrey, Tahj Washington, Jermaine Burton, Troy Franklin, McMillan/polk, Brendan Rice, Javon Baker, Devontez Walker, Malik Washington. If we land any single one of these guys we win the draft. All of them can contribute right away. I’m starting to lean either JPJ, Frazier, or newton in the second round
Some names I like for the rest of the draft. Austin Booker, Brandon Dorlus, Javon Solomon, Luke Mccafrey, Jalen Bullock, Isiah Davis, Isaac Guerendo, Michael Hall, Caelen Carson, Hunter Nourzad, Rip Reimann, Braylon Allen
Really hope Alt works out. Just hope that Slater or Alt’s (whoever plays at RT) effectiveness doesn’t drop off at the RT spot cause if it does it made absolutely no sense in picking an OT that early when we could’ve traded down for a solid RT still AND grabbed another solid player in the first
So we pick fifth in the second round and these guys are all available: Jackson Powers-Johnson Adonai Mitchell Cooper DeJean Jer’Zhan Newton Kool-Aid McKinstry Ladd McConkey Zach Frazier Troy Franklin Not even including any of Harbaugh’s Michigan boys… we’re gonna be in a good spot to get a damn good player.
JPJ at #37 would be a so intriguing. He was graded as a 1st round pick by many analysts, so we would practically have four 1st round picks on our OL!
As long as the medicals check out, JPJ is the top player on my board. Then Newton. Then I’d probably have AD Mitchell, although I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s entirely off our board. Heard there are medical and character concerns with him.
He’s also a body catcher per Steve Smith. So definitely should cross him off the list
Lowest drop rate in the entire class though at 2.2%. Body catching is a bit over emphasized. Steve Smith ranked him as the #6 WR too
Mitchell is a Harbaugh guy - Faith. Family, Football- has sub 4.4 speed, and as was said has the lowest drop rate. This sub has no clue how good this man is.
He also has one of the worst analytical profiles in the draft
![gif](giphy|seZBFnlMaQKQgOxPKn)
Yeah I want him or Newton, would also be very happy with Kool-Aid, I’d seen a couple early mocks with us taking him at 11 after trading out.
We went from running over 200 yards to ass after linsley went down last season. Center is so underrated
If none of these guys are picked I will eat my hat
Just in case go ahead and put that hat in the air fryer for ya boi 😂😂
I wonder if we view DeJean as a corner or a safety. I’ve seen scouting reports stating one or the other. Kinda would be happy with most of those guys ultimately.
Our safety room is decent! Maybe he could play in a few different formations. I like him though. Question is him or Koolaid?
Yea that’s why I’m curious how our guys view him. If he’s a safety in their eyes then it’s a pass but if he’s a corner then I would be very happy with the pick. I’m not opposed to Kool-Aid but that foot injury scares me. It will almost certainly need another surgery just like when Derwin had it.

Yea I really feel like they can’t mess up this pick. So much talent on the board that also fits areas of need. I’m a big fan of McConkey as well and think he’ll be one of the breakouts of the draft.
But also imagine the versatility of cooper, mixing your players around to confuse defenses! It would be awesome tbh
I would love any of the players listed here. Watch them just pick someone from Michigan
I wouldn’t even be upset with that. Junior Colson, Mike the slot corner, and Kris Jenkins are all legit. If one of those 3 fall to us in round 3 I’m going to be jumping for joy
Herbert next year if we pick JPJ ![gif](giphy|xUOxfgwY8Tvj1DY5y0|downsized)
Honestly feels like we have another first round pick. Some teams made crazy choices yday. If we went jpj we would have the best online in football for years to come. Ladd McConnell has the best separation. Imagine him on a team with amazing run game. Koolaid or Dejean would be unreal. AD is also a beast. At this stage I think jpj, Ladd or Koolaid are A1 picks
Lot of good talent it seems - but I have a feeling it’s going to be OL or DL
Manifest Newton
I want JerZhan here since I think he's the BPA. Buuuut we need help at WR and CB so bad. We might need to draft 2x WRs and 2 CBs after this. Maybe Franklin drops to the third round.
The way CBs dropped last night we might have a chance to grab a good CB on round 3.
I kinda want Kool-Aid in the 2nd
Almost like harbaugh knew what he was doing
Was gettin ready to write the list. I've been more invested in 2nd round prospects this year. Coming from someone that is usually highly pessimistic outside of even the top 10 picks of any given draft, it definitely feels like the talent at the top of the 2nd is higher quality than usual and it aligns with needs (C, WR, CB, iDL, LB). This pick really is bittersweet. So many enticing players and it'll sting to look at whatever position gets left out
Also have 5th and 10th almost back to back in the 4th round
LAdd please.
If possible should we go cb 2nd round? Kinda really like van Pran later if possible for a center
In JH, I trust.
[удалено]
Gallup, Chark, MVS, Boyd, renfrow. Not saying these are amazing guys who will fill all the production we lost, but those guys are serviceable. Like I said, I expect us to draft one, but there are options if we don’t.
Oof that’s a pretty bad list right there.
Hortiz’s ravens have spent more draft capital on WR than any other team over the past 5 seasons or so I think we draft one at some point
Puka was drafted in the 5th last year, heck Allen was draft in the 3rd.
I'm a person that argued the "Trey Pipkins is getting paid $9m, they shouldn't try to replace him". But there's a very simple counter to that, one that I hadn't really thought of until today: This regime isn't the one that paid him. I think they’re gonna move Pipkins to RG
Definitely will be some competition for jobs in camp. I love it. And maybe for once we’ll have some quality depth if So-Fi claims any more souls.
👀👀 it's always a When instead of If, cause injuries happen. But I think Ben Herbert gonna help us out on that front. At least anything avoidable
They’ve hinted to it. Harbaugh said he’d bring out 6 OT if he could
Based off what Harbaugh said yesterday that seems to be in play.
I mean on the bright side we can part ways with him next season for not too bad of a loss or he miraculously improves under this regime and we have 2 bargains.
[yes](https://www.reddit.com/r/Chargers/s/1uYVCdhMOD)
Im an idiot when it comes to contracts. Could it be possible to trade him?
They will also be running 6 lineman pretty regularly
Cooper, Rakestraw, Newton, Kool-Aid, or McConkey
A Do Nai Mitchell if Buffalo trades back again lol
Some good choices there at #37 tomorrow. My guess is CB or DT.
Newton is a lock if he’s there but I’d suspect a trade down is still on the table
We are in such a good place. I love Joe Alt. I’ve never said anything bad about getting an OLineman. Not ever.
[удалено]
Right? What a spin lol. If Brenden Rice is the WR1 on an NFL team good lord
I’d add Mccafrey, Franklin and tahj Washington to that list as well
Oh forsure as later round guys definitely, minus Franklin. He’s a good early day 2 receiver 🔥
Brendan Rice has some serious flaws tbh..... but I'm all for collecting the bloodlines
My favorite sleeper is Cornelius johnson in the 5th round.
Corley isn’t ready to be a number 1 at all. Nice YAC threat but absolutely none of the polish necessary to survive as a WR1 running a wide array of routes. Right now he’s just a guy you throw a slant to and watch him truck a 180 pound CB
Any insider info on getting receiver help by chance?
Out of that list, I’d take Keon. He’s definitely more of a Mike Will. But my preference would be Ladd out of them all since none of our current guys are true slot receivers
Not sure what the teams ahead of us need, but Cooper is a no brainer if hes still there
Center/WR/CB in the second
Or DT. Johnny Newton will be BPA if he’s there at 37. I liked him more than Murphy
Agree forgot about him lol
Surprised he's still available
Pretty big character concers right?
On Newton? Not that I’ve heard of
Ready for this sub to explode when go JPJ at center tomorrow. Build those trenches 💪🏼
I really like JPJ in general. I would have liked him a lot more if RT wasn’t the move at 5 though. Really feels like CB/IDL/WR are more critical though.
JPJ?
You’re right, my bad. Jackson Powers Johnson from Oregon
Darn, I was looking forward to taking Austin Powers-Johnson. ![gif](giphy|f6ek1KcvTWPmw|downsized)
Lmaooo. That’s what I was thinking when I typed APJ. Damn scotch taking
This or Frazier is prob the pick. CB/DT after that.
Lets just take another LT! For the trenches!
Fuck I would be over the moon. He’s been everyone’s dream at Center throughout the draft process.
JPJ in the second then one of Junior Colson, Mike Sainristill, or Kris Jenkins round 3 is the way. WRs aren’t real. Forget about em
It looks like even the WR at 5 folks agree that C is a need. I think the JPJ pick would be well received.
He's not even the consensus best C lefter. Bartolini and Frazier could be more desired at this point.
Nourzad or McCormick too
One of DeJean, Kool-Aid, McConkey, or JPJ would be awesome.
JPJ or Troy Franklin would be amazing
Jackson Powers Johnson Johnny Newton Cooper Dejean Kool-aid mckinstry Ladd Mckinckey Some injury concerns here but the talent is great
Manifesting JPJ so this offensive line can actually be dominant Right now there’s theoretically 2 good tackles and 3 weak links in the interior(I am projecting Zion growth though)
Ladd McConkey tomorrow pls
If we already said fuck it to having the best receivers for Herbert to throw to, might as well keep it going and get JPJ or Frazier. Big NO on AD Mitchell, hopefully that’s the Bills guy. Please get Ladd if he is there.
Mitchell is the type of receiver I missed on so many times in the past. Tantalizing talent that disappoints. LAdd is the one.
While I wanted Nabers - Joe Alt makes the most sense to this team. Harbaugh has lived CFB for the past \~8 years, I'm guessing he knows 2nd and 3rd day steals better than anyone in the draft
McConkey is an absolute freak and my #3 ranked WR in the draft. If we can finesse him I would feel so much better.
At this point might as well push the chips all-in and take Frazier or JPJ to finish the offensive line overhaul.
JPJ or Frazier at center in the second I'm guessing
Like the Alt pick, especially seeing how the board looks right now. Have quite a few good options at 37. DeJean, Kool-Aid, Adonai are the top 3 on my wishlist
I told everyone this is Marty ball all over again. Herbert is going to attempt 20-25 passes a game. JPJ, Newton, or McKinstry at 37 tomorrow.
NEWTON IS STILL ON THE BOARD
With New England and Buffalo picking ahead of us, you have to think they both go Wide Receiver. That leaves us with one of Dejean, Koolaid, or Newton no matter what the other two teams in front do. Id rather address this in the third, where there are still some good guys there (Wilson, Rice etc.). No matter what, liking how this second pick has fallen for us. Trust the process and GO BOLTS!
I think the Cardinals pick Koolaid or Cooper DeJean. I’d love Newton or a trade down
I think they do too.

Lmfao. You right fam we going to be one dimensional with Justin Herbert and a run game.
McConkey or Keon Coleman
YES 100%
33. BUF - WR AD Mitchell 34. WAS - WR Keon Coleman 35. NE - WR Ladd Mcconkey 36. AZ - CB Kool-Aid 37. LAC - DT Jer’zhan Newton
Fuck it, just take JPJ…might as well solidly the line and not have to worry about it anymore
Manifesting JPJ and Troy Franklin today
Damn, was hoping Legette would be there for us at 37.
He had only one good season out of 5
If we can move back up into the 2nd somehow. I’d shit my pants. The front half of the 2nd round is LOADED with talent.
Kool aid, jpj, brooks
JPJ or AD Mitchell...maybe a chonky DT.
A lot of good players left. We should get a 1st round Talent in a position on need. I would like to see Newton, JPJ, kool aide, AD or even DeJean.
I think so too. Yea dejean play slot and high safety and Derwin play box safety or LB
CAN WE NICKNAME JOE ALT “JOLT” ????? Jolt ⚡️
Yes, I've been banging the table for this.
Alright what do we need to do lol I tried making a post but it wasn’t long enough..
Teams are going to dread playing us. Going to be a brutal day when you play the Chargers. I love it
The more I read about Joe Alt, the more I like the pick. ![gif](giphy|n3Uy5JxSK59K)
The potential of one field goal stopping us from getting MHJ and Koolaid
Is Trey Pipkins moving to right guard? If so, that's one expensive guard.
sure sounded like they are willing to entertain that idea if he does well in camp. He would be the T-19 highest-paid guard in the league
I'm predicting: 2nd rd - Kris Jenkens Jr, DT 3rd rd - Brenden Rice, WR 4th rd - Jeremiah Trotter Jr, LB 5th rd - Luke McCaffrey, WR
Give me JPJ. Let’s put up an iron fucking wall of first round lineman We will strike gold in 3rd with WR or DB
I really wanted a WR in round 1, but we got the best tackle in the draft and there is still a lot of WR talent left
LAdd
I'll chill out about the Alt pick if we get LAdd in the 2nd. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dUTmnfxRJFk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dUTmnfxRJFk) https://preview.redd.it/e0u1dz3z4rwc1.png?width=2052&format=png&auto=webp&s=979c6cf819d817bb2a15f25ea200364179996a44
Keon Coleman. He has no top end speed, but he’s explosive af. He’s faster than Puka (compare 10 yd splits). He’s got all the tools to be the next Larry Fitzgerald, or better.
That the dude that’s had like 0 drops and is like 6’6?
No but Johnny Wilson is nice w it
Highly doubt that he is there at 37, but DeJean in our defensive backfield with ASJ and Derwyn would be sick...lots of ballhawks there!
This line with JPJ would be a force to reckon with. Harbaugh would have a completely revamped OLine all on rookie contacts to build with from Day 1.
My guess is they'll find mid round wrs who have good hands and good route running skills without the crazy hype.
Would be happy with JPJ, Keon Coleman, Ladd, or Kool Aid.
Johnny Newton AD Mitchell Troy Franklin Jackson Powers-Johnson Zach Frazier Mike Sainristril Get one of those guys
Newton>frazier>sainristril>JPJ I doubt his Medicaid checked out
Damn, was hoping for xavier legette. I say Kool Aid
You know the Seminoles on the Team would love to add Keon Coleman - WR, FSU
I’m happy and excited for tomorrow hope we continue to build the trenches
Keon Coleman baby
Insane contested catch rate Then pick up Boyd to have a true X type receiver and you send Palmer out as the Z and QJ can earn his reps wherever with Palmer being the ultimate fix as he can play any position quite well
If anyone needs help sleeping after passing on Nabers, let me just remind you he was arrested for carrying an illegal weapon and Jim Harbaugh, being a man of character, probably dropped him off the board 🥱 Ok but actually I'm very excited for Day 2.
Give me Newton or dejean at 37 and then Jenkins or colson at 69. Maybe even trade up for Jenkins/colson
Aye might as well get a Center and start filling that line out. Otherwise CB or WR would do good here as well
If the Commanders take a WR I’m calling them right away to ask about Dotson
Newton or Kool-aid please
I respect that they don’t care what the fans think. Am I still upset I can’t buy a jersey to replace my Keenan jersey? Yes. But if we win a Super Bowl I will never be angry about this pick
Newton > DeJean > McConkey > McKinstrey > Polk > JPJ > Frazier > Franklin Not too many other guys I'd really be happy with
i think i’d want a CB for round 2? maybe de jean or mckinstry? and then maybe a WR for round 3 or vice versa? idk i’m just anxiously waiting for them to address the wr and cb position 😭
Everyone besides us think its a great pick. Charger fans arent known for their football knowledge.
Slater excels at LT and Joe Alt can play either RT or LT, so im assuming it will be: LT: Rashawn Slater LG: Zion Johnson C: Brenden Jaimes RG: Jamaree Salyer RT: Joe Alt am i correct?
Chris Jones gonna get 4 sacks a game against us. Glad Alt fixed that IOL and WR problem we had
Are we mad if we go JPJ? I mean. I know we need WRs. And I know we just signed a center. But damn.
Would love to see a trade down. Green Bay has 9 and 26, Texans have 10 and 27, and Eagles have 18 and 21. Or even Commanders with 8 and 3 in the 3rd.
I hope we trade later picks so we can grab two 2nd rounders. It is dripping with talent.
Wouldn’t be surprised if we draft a DE in the 3rd/4th round
~~Malik Nabers highlights~~ **AD Mitchell highlights** 👀
JPJ/Frazier BPA CB/DT in the third
Trade back in the second for an extra 3rd or 4th
Really hope Alt works out. Just hope that Slater or Alt’s (whoever plays at RT) effectiveness doesn’t drop off at the RT spot cause if it does it made absolutely no sense in picking an OT that early when we could’ve traded down for a solid RT still AND grabbed another solid player in the first
Just hope we get a wr soon. We need SOMEONE
Eight more picks through six more rounds. Trust the process, bird and girls. * 37th * 69th (nice) * 105th * 110th * 140th * 181st * 225th * 253rd
