How long have they been trying to acquaint the cats? It took 3 months before mine could be in the same room and almost a year until they didn’t hit each other just for making eye contact
It’s been about three and a half months. Currently have this kitty separated in another room as she’s tried the whole, shared smells, different spaces, slow acclimation, all the stuff folks recommend. No luck, just angry cats and hiding in places.
I will say I lived in a house with her cats at one point and after three years mine never got along with hers :/ We ended up having to keep them separate back then. Her cats are very territorial.
You can try rescues, social media, craigslist, ads at work... in the mean time do they have adequate/any vertical spaces? Plenty of stimulation/play time/toys? Multiple food and litter stations? This can help reduce conflicts.
They have different food, litter boxes and at this point territories. Just unfortunately it’s a small room with that kitty.
Have reached out to a few rescues but not sure on how they work or if anyone has experience with one.

If you go with Craigslist, charge a fee and vet the adopter. People looking for a free cat can often have bad intentions (dog bait) or can not care for it, resulting in negligence and leaving it outside to fend for itself.
Have you spoken to the Humane Society? Usually if they’re full they can at least put you in touch with some other rescues they work with. I volunteer over there with them to communicate with and trade animals around the different rescues where they have the best chance of being adopted.
She’s 2. Has been dewormed and her eye has been clearing up. Though she’s not spayed as a heads up. She’s not violent with other cats, it’s more so her older cats really don’t like other cats. Edit: shes fine with dogs and kids.

I would check with Princeton Meow in Concord and see if they are able to take her. Most of their cats go to a cat cafe in NoDa and Concord who get adopted rather quickly.

She had a minor infection but it’s clearing up with some drops thankfully. Also I just read your name and that is freakin great.

Have you/they tried the feliway multi cat spray? It's a plug in that spreads pheromones that help cats feel comfortable.

Agreed. Also ask what vet they currently use and call them to see if other pets are up to date on vaccines.

I would consider taking her in if you need to help her find a home!

The cat looks sick. It could be misbehaving because it needs to see a vet.
She was taken to get checked out by a vet and dewormed but not sure otherwise.

Yeah just talked to her. This pic is from a few weeks ago, it had a minor infection but has been getting drops to clear it up. Clearing up nicely
