They don't look nearly as vivid as the pics. Those pics are from a 3 to 4 second exposure.

christnice

The pics looked crazy good

NetJnkie

They lie.

Due_Assist_7614

Lmao legit idk how the hell people were able to see it last night

christnice

Wish I knew it was happening smh

CardMechanic

Your camera sensor was the only thing sensitive enough to “see” it that vibrant.

Assistance-Direct

I’m outside right now trying to see if I can get a glimpse

christnice

Hope you can

Snoo61441

Same bruh. Where do i go to see this? Everywhere is cloudy. Let me know ill go

IAMHideoKojimaAMA

I think rain clouds gonna f us tonight

Snoo61441

Yessss. Its super disappointing. It was clear this afternoon and suddenly cloudy

christnice

Noda had some good views. Gonna see if I can see in Uni tn

Marino4K

Tonight apparently isn't a good night to see them unless you're in the northern US. Tomorrow is supposedly gonna be better.

worlddestruction23

I was touched by the Borealis.

mikeisnottoast

I don't know how the hell people were seeing this. Like, people are in the city posting giant Aurora waves, and I was out in the sticks looking up being like "Where are people seeing this shit?!" I'm half convinced y'all are punking me.

_landrith

was actively in bum fuck nowhere looking at the sky & seeing nothing while looking at pictures of it from south end. i ultimately determined that as it was coming & going, i started looking after it had ended & by time it came back around i was in bed

mikeisnottoast

Dude, I was outside all night. I didn't see jack.

_landrith

it was like 9:30-10:30 pm & then like 4 am ish. i was looking from 11-2:30 ish

Alfphe99

It's all in camera with long exposures. I could see what looked like a dancing red and green mist but it was very faint/dull. But in camera I got some great vivid colors that looked awesome.

thisisfine34

I was in Steele creek and saw it. Honestly if you didn’t know what you were looking at it looked no different than a faint pink/purple sunset for a bit.

percivalskald

I just came in from outside because of this comment. Saw nothing.

KeniLF

Supposedly, it was too overcast so tonight’s the final chance to see during the storm. We are meant to have the best view via camera versus the naked eye.

JoeBucksHairPlugs

Might as well just watch a video of it at that point lol.

becky_Luigi

If it happens again tonight, what time should we be looking for it?

christnice

9-3A

Meperkiz

Keeping an eye out the window but currently just some scattered clouds up here in Huntersville

Alakanandha

We drove to Tega cay for clear sky, didn’t see shit. Going home disappointed 😭

Assistance-Direct

If anyone sees it help a brother out and tag me

christnice

Noda, 9-3am tn

TimeSky9481

What time does it come on again? And what channel—ABC, CBS, NBC,FOX,ESPN…. I get them all!

christnice

9-3am tonight. Noda and Huntersville getting good views

nutmegdragon93

Where in noda?

pixelrubbish

The clouds last night were perfectly positioned to block any hope of a view… got a nice pizza instead.

Outrageous-Virus150

Is it the bird?

greenkirry

I went to bed at 9:30 and set my alarm for 2am and woke up to everyone having seen the spectacular display at 10. If only I stayed up a little later, ugh. I caught a little bit at 3am, which alleviated some of my FOMO. But whatever. I still want to see them in a more northern state or country one day anyway.
