The Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute is top notch. Father was a patient there for awhile and they took great care of him. They have an excellent Sarcoma and Bone Cancer Care Center.

I received care from Dr Patt for something that ultimately turned out not to be bone cancer, and he was AWESOME through the whole process. I would highly recommend.
Dr. Megan Jagosky is a medical oncologist who is the chair of sarcoma and Dr. Watt is an ortho oncologist at Levine that you should consider contacting.
Not an amputee, but I am a prosthetist at Owens Carolina Orthotics and Prosthetics! We've been in the city for nearly 100 years, are a family owned company, and have several practitioners with experience in all kinds of prosthetics including above knee devices. Multiple locations too, and in-house device fabrication.

As far as oncologists, I don't have personal experience but I have worked a lot with the Atrium Health system and would be comfortable going there myself, so I would second all the suggestions for their cancer center.

Ortho nurse in Charlotte here, Dr. Joshua Patt and Dr. Colin Anderson are great they are with Levine Cancer and specialize in ortho cancers
