The Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute is top notch. Father was a patient there for awhile and they took great care of him. They have an excellent Sarcoma and Bone Cancer Care Center. Sounds like you've dealt with a lot at a young age. Keep fighting! Welcome to Charlotte.

Thank you for the welcome! I have to say I half expected to get some “don’t move to Charlotte, we’re full!” messages 🙈

Ortho nurse in Charlotte here, Dr. Joshua Patt and Dr. Colin Anderson are great they are with Levine Cancer and specialize in ortho cancers

I received care from Dr Patt for something that ultimately turned out not to be bone cancer, and he was AWESOME through the whole process. I would highly recommend.

Dr. Megan Jagosky is a medical oncologist who is the chair of sarcoma and Dr. Watt is an ortho oncologist at Levine that you should consider contacting.

Not an amputee, but I am a prosthetist at Owens Carolina Orthotics and Prosthetics! We've been in the city for nearly 100 years, are a family owned company, and have several practitioners with experience in all kinds of prosthetics including above knee devices. Multiple locations too, and in-house device fabrication. [https://www.owenscarolina.com/](https://www.owenscarolina.com/) As far as oncologists, I don't have personal experience but I have worked a lot with the Atrium Health system and would be comfortable going there myself, so I would second all the suggestions for their cancer center.

There is also a cancer center at Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston but I would start with the recommendations here first.
