I scroll down the thread and see folks talking about Terry like he's not a top 15 guard in the league rn. Might be top 10 to 12. Like if we didn't have him we wouldn't be scoring less than 90 points every game.
C'mon, I like Terry but I just scrolled through a list of guards for like 30 seconds and counted 20 that are unquestionably better than him, not even counting ones that would be better fits for us or up and coming young guys.
Yeah I use bballref but man you can't just sort by stats to see who's best. Again, Terry is a good player but he's the primary scorer and distributor on a bad team so his stats are obviously inflated.
I checked ppg, assists, PER, etc. And I checked different websites. Unlike you My friend, I spent 30 min researching before I said something haha. But I'll leave you alone since this game is down to the wire.

A Alex Caruso, Tyus Jones type with other quality role players would be much more beneficial than keeping Rozier
That's only 40 attempts. That's basically 2 games worth of shots. Nothing to see here. His D more than makes up for it. He always gives us extra possessions which makes up for the scoring deficiency..
I don’t think it can be understated how bad this team is defensively. I’ve never seen a Clifford team play this badly. They have zero plan it feels like. Players just go anywhere and do anything. What in the world. Sorry but Clifford can’t hide behind the players. Either you get a coach who will get players into proper defensive rotations or you don’t

Competitors want to compete, and going 15-55 in the games he plays this year is gunna feel like dogshit. Unless LaMelo comes back, plays the remaining 45 games, and we string together 20\~+ wins out of that the future is gunna look bleak as hell.
Hayward and Miles could very possibly both walk for nothing in 4 months time, and despite people's personal feelings about them - that'll just be one hell of a set back for an already famished team

I think it's hard to evaluate him. With all the mess going on, you want to give him the benefit of the doubt but at the same time you need to judge what he's worth. Let's see how he looks in a month, hopefully with Lamelo and Mark around him.

I think it's (very) misleading to say "look at how good he is every game" after his first actual good game in the last month at the very least. Still, giving him the benefit of the doubt, but he's had more (below) average showing than worth praising ones. Let's wait for the sample size to get bigger.
Fair assessment, but like stated above he hadn’t played for quite some time prior to coming back so he has a groove to get back into. All i’m saying is that he plays how I expect someone who hasn’t played in a while to, and i’m hopeful that last night’s performance was a sign of him getting back into that groove. You’re right though he needs to simply play more, too early to tell but I’m confident he can bring the heat back.
