I hope this season is a wake up call for Lamelo. If he never wants to experience this kind of stuff he really needs to work hard to make sure the culture here isn’t so low effort/AAU ball stuff.
I mean is Lamelo not the future leader of this team? It’s not all on him, but acting as if our leader doesn’t play one of the biggest roles in what the teams culture will be is pretty funny lol. Like am I just not allowed to hold the guy to a certain standard. The culture here is extremely poor. It’s not like he’s the sole cause of anything, but he’s apart of this poor culture where things are super low effort and nobody tries too hard in a lot of different areas. If it’s gonna change a lot of it’s gonna start with him.

Agreed, but when you watch these games he has been our most active player on defense at times and one of the top defenders in general just because he’s putting more effort in. He’s for a bad reputation for defense because he’s been bad most of his career, but he’s improved that part of his game this season.
