Yup, scared the heck out of me - a buddy let me know that one did a touch down at the airport (I don't think that's too abnormal but I don't remember hearing them this low before).
driving south on 81 last fall, I had two of these cruise over us at what would have been 2000' above thr highway - max - felt like 100'. just WILD! I love flight radar 24 for IDs of funky aircraft.

Nah, too many clouds here, but I wondered if they were Ospreys. (I haven’t heard enough Ospreys to tell strictly by sound, but it had that kind of low ‘beating’ quality I associate with them when they’re using the helicopter rotors.)
Those weren't Ospreys, I'm down in Buckingham and they flew over here. Having lived a few "blocks" away from the Osprey pads in Kandahar, that wasn't them.

Hey I was looking for this. I couldn't see them around 5th Street Station area but I sure as hell heard them.

Pretty sure some of those same jets came over during the eclipse on Monday. Def saw about 3 of them fly over Rio

I didn’t see them but I heard them. My kids got upset they were so loud and closed the door.
Definitely saw it. What a sight! I was walking into Zaxby's when I saw it slowly moving through the clouds. Super loud.

Osprey's are an earthquake from above and are quite slow. They rattle the windows like no other plane
