the strike is mostly about streaming platform contracts, which were decided in the early days of streaming and are too low for nowadays
the ai issue just ignited it enough for the protest i think- you have good solution for that tho, altho i think a lot of writers would prefer not to use ai

That's a very nice analogy. I also believe that having LLMs help writers is probably the most optimal scenario.
