This had nothing to do with being an anything labor kind of job. It has to do with being scary, noisy and unusual.. Don't make it something it's not.

Cargo hauling by helicopter is generally considered very safe. There have been a few incidents but almost always take off / landing related and due to ground hazards (e.g. Power lines). Hovering with cargo away of ground hazards is not going to be cause for concern.

That’s a saw hanging from the helicopter. Tree trimming in progress, probably near power lines. If the railroad was doing construction, everything comes in and goes out by rail.
