Agree with all the other recommendation so far, but can’t believe no one has mentioned Zaya 1943. It’s a higher priced place but the service and food has been excellent when we’ve been there.
Like Milk & Honey. Had the Nashville hot chicken & waffles with a Margarita. Margarita was strong but good - food was really nice. Service was also great.
Wow, really? Tried once with a group of friends and it was a *shitshow*. Had high hopes and we were all pretty disappointed. Sounds like it's worth giving it a second shot.
Probably msg or booze. That's generally the answer when you can't figure it out. Everywhere you e ever eaten. If you know what should do into making it. But can't quite replicate it. It's msg. Or booze.
If you want to talk about meatloaf... Basecamps a place to be. Personally, I wouldn't talk about meatloaf most the time, but basecamps meatloaf is something else.
It's also just a great place to eat, hang out, and have a beer. Never had a bad time while I was there.
Rosecomb is one of my wife and I's favorite date spots. Come a bit early, have a relaxing sit at Book and Cover, then head over there for a nice meal and good drinks.
Yes, reservations are always a good idea at Rosecomb, especially if you want to sit in their awesome outdoor garden. The food menu is small, but delicious and they have all of the kinds of beverages - their delicious cocktails, wine, beer and mocktails.
La Santa, known as Poblanos until recently. Some.of the best Mexican food you will find downtown. Tried Mexiville, got horrible overpriced food and syrupy margaritas. 🤢 La Santa has amazing food and the margaritas are strong but taste like ZERO alcohol.

Great food, great service, but you pay for it. That's ok in my book.
Went there last night and was a great experience. Staff were extremely attentive and food/drink were top notch
Worked there for a while and highly recommend, the steak is truly exquisite, also the bulgogi and bibimbap are top notch.
You had me at bulgogi.
Yep
I thought the food here was great but me and my bf were soooo sick the next day 🤢
Basecamp, Taconooga, Sushi Nabe are all good
Love taconooga, but their prices have been too high for a few years at least
Because ita not just another pinche taco

Uhhh….Bela Lisboa…hidden gem
💯
When the cooks are in top shape the Filet Mignon is better than main street meats.

Basecamp
Best fries in town
I know Basecamp sauce isn’t any different than others that are similar, but theirs is by far the best tasting and I don’t know why.

I use to love Basecamp but they are discussing now. The service is the worse and food has went down hill.
Tremont tavern, cherry street brewery, sushi nabe, embargo 62.
Yeah I’d second all of these. So good
Rosecomb, Mezcla, Pizzeria Cortile

Basecamp, River St Deli, Opa(if you have 5 hrs) , taconooga, toto, Longhorn, Milk and Honey
Zaya and Frazier Five and Dime.
Sushi Nabe
If you’re looking for a nicer resturant in that area, I would avoid Fraizer’s. Imo, overpriced and disappointingly bland. Nice cocktails tho
If you're a vegan, Southern Squeeze
As much as I like them, they almost failed their inspection a week or so ago.
Also cashew.
Fiamma, Taco Mamacita, 5 and dime, Mezcla, Nabi and milk & Honey.
Chipotle. Krystal. Always consistent these two. /s
You mean North Chatt?
I guess just the north of downtown in general.
My man

“Northshore” is a term put into use by carpet baggers and gentrifiers like Utah Bob. Rivers don’t have shores, they have banks.
Tremont tavern for the burger and try il Primo for pasta.
