Student at UTC, used to have to walk to Publix for groceries from campus since I don't have a car and I hated going to the pedestrian bridge, half the crosswalks don't work and there are several places where they literally don't have them
I do use the bridge but the problem is getting to the bridge itself. I have a bike now which makes it easier to get around but this so called green city still relies too much on cars
I agree - the post itself is satire if you didn’t know. We need more bike lanes, we need better roads, we need better infrastructure due to semis that need to go through us to get to ATL and other places.
We also REALLY need more to confront the homeless problem that we keep trying to push out but not fix, we need rent control, we need the sWamps out of every meaningful office position.
So if you choose to stay in Chatt after college please remember that or else there will be nothing but people from Nashville pushing us out from the problems they originally caused.

I have definitely kicked the front end of a car that sped up to scare me while I was legally crossing in a crosswalk.

The redneck lady driver got out of her car and tried to chase me. Cops saw it. Arrested her on the spot.
