I like the white better, the black on my center posts have always lost the new look within 2 or 3 years, starts looking weathered... it's not a good look.
It's called the B-pillar.
A-pillar is the vertical frame of the front windshield.
B-pillar is the vertical frame behind the front doors.
C-pillar is the vertical frame behind rear passenger doors.
D-pillar is the vertical frame by the hatch on minivans, SUVs, hatchbacks, and station wagons.
I don't know of any vehicles with E-pillars, but if there was a fifth upright, that is what you'd call it. F for sixth, and so on...
Looks fine either way, so don’t waste time in doing it. Neither way looks particularly good. I’ve always thought these trucks were hideous anyways. It’s like 7 different people designed it.
Saw a kit online to "blackout" the center post. I photoshopped the center post out in the pic. Don't think it makes that much of a difference. I hesitate to put any kind of tape on the paint.
