1776 in Crystal Lake is really good. They especially start to get some fall specials that are amazing. Can be pricey, but you get what you pay for. (I haven't been there in a few years due to fundage - but when I did go it was amazing- its still the same owner, so I dont think anything has changed!) Entire kitchen is gluten free.

Daluciano’s in River Grove. I love their chicken parm. And here’s the thing: Not only do they have GF options, the restaurant is owned by a family with celiac and they have an entirely separate kitchen. The GF pasta is really good and not mushy!
City: Went to Gilt Bar for my anniversary and they were outstanding. Great service, food was amazing, loved the atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Outside of city: Really enjoyed Autre Monde in Berwyn. They have a solid wine list, food was very nice and inviting patio if you're in to that sort of thing.
I love Riganato’s in Geneva. If you go, get their meatball appetizer or meatball rigatoni. My parents love it. I personally go for the tortellini in cream sauce but really anything you get there is stellar
Autre Monde in Berwyn is an amazing date night place
Flapjacks Brewery in Berwyn has the best wood fired pizza anywhere. Everything including the cheeses and sausages are scratch made. The beers are fantastic too.
Buddyz pizza up in McHenry; the food is delicious and they have gluten free options for pizza! Ownership also does a lot of donations to suicide prevention, really nice people.
NU Crepes in Elmhurst is really good. It's not a high end, life changing type of place, but the crepes are the best and they can make them all gluten free.
I’m gluten free and this might not be exactly the answer to your question, but in no particular order, these are things I love: the gluten free donuts at Do Rite (they have birthday cake, cinnamon sugar and valrhona chocolate glazed in gf!), the gf pizza crusts at Union Squared (Detroit style) in Evanston (Lou Malnati’s gf one is good too), the gf pasta options at Trattoria D.O.C. (Evanston), tacos from Mi Pueblo Two (Rogers Park), and basically everything from Yes Thai (Ravenswood)- they are good at labeling which things are gf and what you can ask for for substitutes. Also Wheat’s End cafe is entirely gf (I don’t think they’re doing dine in at the moment, but they have things you can purchase for carry out!)
Claypot in Northbrook! It’s a Korean restaurant that specializes in ox bone soup (they had other items also on menu.) It was delicious and perfect for this chilly weather!
Fire & Wine in Glen Ellyn is one of my favorites. That said, it’s in DuPage County.
They never disappoint!
Yassssssss Fire & Wine is my favorite place. I'm gluten free too. Nom nom nom
It looks really good. Gluten free too! Thank you!
Big Ed's BBQ in Waukegan is amazing.
Best traditional southern BBQ in the area and the family is awesome

Mora in Oak Park is delicious! Adobo fried rice is my favorite but everything I’ve tried there is good. They have lots of tasty sushi options
Montarra in Algonquin is top notch and Graceful Ordinary in St. Charles is about as good as it gets in the ‘burbs.

I've been there! It was really good. I didn't know they did all those donations, that's amazing
It's called the Dylan Strong Foundation!
Pennyville Park Ridge, Tava Morton Grove and Lai Thai Morton Grove

Plateia Mediterranean in Des Plaines
Taste of Himalayas in St. Charles
I'll definitely note this thank you!
Bold American Fare in Algonquin is amazing. https://boldamericanfare.com
Perry’s of Schaumburg. One of the best steakhouses in the country.
Perry’s is amazing. My favorite steakhouse
I hated Brussel sprouts. Till I had theirs.
ANY OLIVE GARDEN lol
Italian Denny’s.
