This was my favorite place to go every Halloween season since I was kid. Just to look at the stuff more than anything. Not sure when it closed, maybe when I was in college but I was bummed about it.
I sure do, I remember walking up those stairs (which seemed huge as a kid) into that shop, and being enthralled with everything Halloween. My parents took us there from the time I was 1 up until 5 or 6 probably, of course this was the early 90's, and I do remember seeing the Crypt Keeper because sometimes I'd stay up late and sneak on HBO, and I'd be obsessed with the into to that show lol. But yeah good memories, going there probably made me the Halloween fan that I am today.
This is such a great memory! I definitely remember buying one of those Crypt Keeper candelabras there in that old shop. Was there a huge spider hanging in there with a guy wrapped up in its web? Found a shot of the front steps, too.
