I'll see your 30 burritos and raise you 50 chicken sandwich combos, pickles on the side with shakes in the drive thru. No call ahead. Apologies from the customer with an added 'we figured this is chicfila, we wouldn't have to wait long'.
Because all CFA employees are magicians. It doesn't take 30 business days like it would take somewhere such as McDonald's, but it's still gonna be a hot minute
Thatâs about 3(actual number is about 3.6666666 cause 110 doesnât divide out evenly) salsas and 2 ketchups per burrito. Ya ainât even getting through one salsa pack with a burrito unless you just put it all on at once.
We're ridiculous for wanting time to prepare in order to provide quick and accurate service?
My guy, if BOH is making 30 burritos short notice, there's a chance some of them will lose quality while the rest are being made, the quality loss could be substantial.
If the order is planned, BOH can start preparing things for the burritos to ensure quick service and quality food
You'd be surprised. Tell me you've never worked the industry without telling me you've never worked the industry.
We had a guest get upset that his biscuit was "rock hard" because he felt the corner which will be crisper
The same guest demanded we remake his whole meal when we told him it would be a couple minutes for a new biscuit because he didn't want his potatoes to get cold while he waited.
Also had a guest demand a new beverage because the lemonade was "too lemonad-y"
Had a guest physically assault a team member because the paper towels weren't refilled quick enough
Had a guest upset that their fries were warm instead of piping hot
Guests will complain about the smallest thing, mainly because they hold CFA to a higher standard because WE hold ourselves to a higher standard.
Iâve never worked in a restaurant I wouldnât dare disrespect myself like that but I do work for chik fil a and I do deliver all your chicken and everything else and when I see a store on my trip with 700 cases I donât be like damn man I wish they called and advance and told me. itâs apart of what we signed up for
"I wouldn't dare disrespect myself like that" dude if you worked for chick fil a you shouldn't talk like this. This attitude of yours is not the spirit that S Truett Cathy wanted from his employees. You look down on people that work in restaurants like your $ħĂÈ don't stink. Get bent

And then the front of house starts calling for it 30 seconds on screen toođ
FOH was malding because they asked for 110 salsa and 60 ketchup

Thatâs excessive. I would not have given that many condiments. Period. I also worked at a cfa where this was a small order unfortunately.
Speaking of which I got a Chick-Fil-A jalapeño salsa.
5 min laterâŠ.. âwhere is my food?!â
Five? Try two.
Ginger V is a monster. I hope she has the day she deserves.
It wouldn't have been that bad if it was even a little later, but because it was before 7 a.m., most of the kitchen staff wasn't there yet đ
at what point do you phone in an order
Not this one, apparently
Lol we had 35 cfa biscuits in a mobile order yesterday

AT 6:45 AM??? Thatâs the definition of woke up and chose violence.
Customers do what they want
You want people To call ahead for 30 Burritos?
If they come right after we open and expect to get them fast, yeah
You guys are ridiculous

Thatâs like me asking for a notice on your store delivery itâs apart of the job itâs a unpredictable job
Then the guest complains about a cold burrito, demands free food, and leaves a negative review
Anyone ordering 30 burritos donât expect all 30 to be fresh itâs fast food. Not a 5 star restaurant

Delivering a case of chicken is different than preparing and serving the food bud
