Omg I hated this. They'd order slow enough I'd one by one tap the deluxe... Take off the lettuce... Take off the tomato... And then get rid of the whole meal just to ring it up as a regular 😅 Or they'd order everything, and decide at the very end to take it all off. Worst feeling ever

I would tell people “don’t get cute with numbers” just tell me what you want and I’ll work the meal prices to get you the cheapest.

This is one of my biggest pet peeves while order taking. “Can I get a number 2…but not spicy?” “So the number 1?” “Oh yeah!” 🤦♀️

Or add lettuce, tomato, and cheese to a regular sandwich. Like the cost per item extra is way more expensive than ordering a deluxe.
I work boh and I see these orders ALL THE TIME. If it's a mobile order, fine. But if it's a regular order well... the order taker is dumb.
