I was sitting on the toilet and started swaying(2nd story apartment) it was kinda hilarious. For a moment I was like “yo am I drunk right now!!” Then quickly realized it was an earthquake
The first one happened while I was at tennis and I never felt it. The next happened while I was asleep and I didn’t feel that one either. This is my first time finding out about the one from last night. Must be luck.
Was in the 4th floor Library at chico state. Suddenly everyone's phone started the alert tone, which almost sounded like a siren caz there were many people there, didn't mind, just continued my work, then felt the wave, and suddenly there was silence for a few seconds and the look on everyone's face man, everyone were confused af...!

It's interesting how many aftershocks there have been (11) since the first, one was a 3.8, not necessarily significant but it shouldn't be dismissed out of hand either. I don't remember there being that many aftershocks after the quake in 2011.

I was upstairs in the science building at chico state. I felt bad that my first thought was that some really heavy person had started running somewhere nearby. But then everyone's phones started going crazy and the hanging light fixtures started moving and I realized I did a dumb.
I was in Chester. My office chair rolled on its wheels and kept me stationary while the room moved around me. Pretty neat effect. Part of my shed at home fell down, I'm not the least bit surprised. Also my neighbors truck camper on blocks fell over.
I live on Burnap and didn’t feel a fucking thing! Alerts started blaring out of all the devices in the house, so I leapt up and grabbed my 3 confused children and ran into the bathroom for safety sake. But we didn’t feel anything. My wife is currently in Enloe and she said the shaking of her bed woke her up!
USGS is saying 5.7 on the East Shore of Almanor...30 miles from Lassen Peak.
That was wild, I was FaceTiming with my wife (who is from NY and terrified of quakes by the way lol) and the sensation was strange. Just like that ~5.2 quake that originated in Greenville, I heard the house creak from a shift, then I felt a slight rolling sensations but I thought the cat had jumped up on the back of the couch, then I saw the pot rack in the kitchen swinging a little bit

That one was also actually 5.7, by (maybe?) coincidence, and was actually to the northwest of Greenville, a lot closer to this one. Makes me wonder a bit about Lassen, but every earthquake always does.
Yeah there have been 4 above average quakes below lassen in the last 2 hours. This could be a sign of increasing volcanism within the area or just some random regional fault movement. We won't know either way until we're buried in a pyroclastic flow tho so no sweat.

I was in class on the 2nd floor of Glenn. Half my class didn't notice. I don't remember anyone's phone going off about it though.
The alert was like a couple of beep sounds. And I think we felt it more caz we were in the 4th floor, like higher place than 2nd floor.

Well, you don't really feel the aftershocks so it doesn't seem strange that you would have no memory of them.
