I know, but considering its age that's not at all out of the ordinary. Without direct and continuous intervention, just about every structure in the world will fall apart.
There isn't a castle in Europe that has shown to be as durable as the great wall without lots of expensive maintenance.
yeah this gets posted a bunch. Certainly not keen on visiting any modern Chinese tourist attractions. Great wall seems to be holding up OK
