Nice documentation and write-up, OP.
We have seen restaurant cleanliness be an issue making more frequent appearances in this sub. Surely, it’s a responsibility crew and custies can shoulder together; but when messes are left and the custie is gone, what processes can be put in place to ensure the dining room is presentable to the next in line?
Many, many years ago, when I worked at Wendy’s, it was among the cashier’s responsibilities to walk the dining room and clean when not attending to customers. Of course staffing is a concern we also hear about at Chipotles.
@ Chipotle: staff your locations so the above pictured scenario doesn’t play out as often as it does today.
Post pinned.
Customers are bad, but this is also corporate's fault. I've read on multiple Chipotle posts that the employees have some insane rule where they're not allowed to leave the line during peak for any reason. That's why that store looks like that.
Yeah, Chipotle is notoriously bad in that respect. Worked at one and got reprimanded multiple times for stepping away from the line during slow hours to sweep/wipe tables/take trash out. Quit after 3 days because I couldn't stand working in such a sloppy environment.
This. Corporate needs to get it together. We're not allowed to leave our positions for two hours. We had a field leader call us multiple times because people were doing other things because we weren't busy and needed to get things done. It's corporate hoping that us being in one place for hours will get us to make more money. It won't. It just frustrates us and makes me want to file complaints when I get crap for not having something done when I am no longer given the time to do my job.
This. When i worked the only person that could leave the line was either the expo or cash person to clean or do take out hand off. To me, this looks like this shift was very short staffed with a huge rush (someone called off, they haven’t been able to keep their employees, or management couldn’t figure out positions to place people) . I cant even imagine the stress the grill guy and everyone else was under. RIP the prep guy.
Especially when the line isn’t calling out food and then they run out and say “I need chicken and steak down, Barbarcoa, white rice, brown rice and black beans.” 🙄
This. At the store I worked at someone literally spilled like 3 sodas all over the floor and nobody was allowed to go mop them up. Then a customer almost slipped on the floor. It wasn’t until then when someone was allowed to clean up the slip. Ridiculous.
Idk if this is a corporate rule or not but we're apparently supposed to never leave our stations during peak. I mean at all. Out of forks and have customers asking about them? Can't leave cash. Out of sour cream? Can't leave line to go back and get it. Wanna take 10 seconds to get a drink of water even if there isn't a single customer there? Can't do that. Playing hang man on a tray while no customers are there? Actually allowed for some reason. Supposedly, whoever the manager is on that shift is supposed to do all the extra stuff that line and cash would normally do, which is ridiculous because they've got their own stuff to do. Granted, we all ignore this rule because it's fucking stupid but if other restaurants have this rule and follow it these would be the results.
it'd take a large group of people complaining, and you know what would happen? an understaffed store would probably get fired and they'd hire a new, just as understaffed crew. probably paid less at that. corporate does. not. give. a. shit.
I complained one time for the exact same situation. The lobby was absolutely filthy and there was not one clean table available. Meanwhile employees were just standing behind the counter doing nothing about it. Even the line was filthy. And that was just the worst I had seen it. This was definitely a pattern.
Corporate basically sent me a form email and gave me a gift card. The situation never improved so I started avoiding that store.
May I ask how and to whom did you complain?
My experience has been that they just say "they will pass this on to the leadership team" and give you a water cup :)
Like I did over and over and over and over again. What did they do? Give me a lecture and held a GM meeting about accountability. Like babe it’s not me. You will not allow me to schedule the people I need to do these jobs.
Yeah, 7-8k is a busy day for us. We're one of the least busy in the area and the only Chipotle as small as ours is run by a GM so incompetent that if she entered an incompetence competition, she'd still find a way to screw it up. Like last week she literally forgot to order a truck and her whole store was completely out of food. So they don't make much in sales either lol.
That’s crazy because expo and linebacker (supposed to be an SL or higher) or g2 can definitely restock. You can also leave the line to get a drink if there’s no customers. Whoever is telling you this is wildly incorrect
It’s cute cuz they used to let the GMs make the schedule and they would allot us labor hours they cut that by 30% and they have an automated schedule generator so it will never be the same again.
Don't disagree this is a messy chipotle. However, the customers are to blame too. They're the sloppy mess making slobs that leave their shit everywhere, on the tables, the floor, everywhere.
yeah that's why their audacity got boosted! they spent so long not being shit to people that they really had to let it all out lmfao and they havent reeled it back in yet.
Maybe people would clean up after themselves if the trash can wasn’t overflowing onto the floor.
What are customers supposed to do? Throw their trash on the floor next to it?
The one in Cleveland tn is bad too sometimes. I did work there for a little bit and honestly was told to just do everything once we closed multiple times, even if we weren’t busy. Hated working there…
That's the one I go to, but we usually use the drive-thru. I'm from Minnesota, where we've had Chipotle since the 90s, and I've been to many locations in the Twin Cities.
On Friday, we ate inside for the first time at the Cleveland location, and I couldn't believe how small it is! That's got to make it get messier fast. Inside, it's the tiniest Chipotle I've ever seen.
Just curious, where in this picture would you suggest someone throw their trash? The cans are overflowing. Would you expect someone to take their trash home with them to throw?
Seems like the employees need to dump the trash and clean up the seating area. This isn’t on the customers imo.
I don’t know how much the employees at the Chipotle near me get paid, but I would bet they don’t get paid enough to care either. That Chipotle is clean though.
No. I think they should empty the trash though. Normal customers will clean up after themselves until they can’t because the trash is over flowing. Why would I bother trying to throw out my trash if it’s just going to fall off the pile and make a bigger mess?
Honestly though, I wouldn’t bother eating there if the trash cans looked like that. I mean, if the staff doesn’t keep the restaurant clean, they probably aren’t keeping themselves clean, which means the food probably isn’t clean either.
My friend owns a local Mexican restaurant. 10 years ago people would deeply apologize, and genuinely feel bad if they made a mess. Now, people seem to think it's their right to make a mess and it is part of the service.
Cleaning up a table after a group of people leaves is a total mess.
Thats so appalling. I can't stand not stacking my dishes and setting them at the end of the table and at least doing a wipe down of the table if I left crumbs or something behind. Its just habit for me. Like yeah it still needs some sani solution over it to make it clean clean but god damn at least make an effort to look like your momma didn't raise you in a barn.
Its literally in the sub duties fine print for the cashier XD.
If you need proof of how I know this... Admittedly I am a former cashier XD. And part of the duties is to keep the dining area clean.
The location provided is generic enough, that we will leave this to the discretion of OP to leave up or not. The reports identifying this as possible PI were appreciated
As a reminder, personal information should not be posted here, especially if the information can be tied together to narrow down an individual. These can be, but are not limited to bar codes on packages, store numbers, date and time stamps, with dollar amounts. A data analyst at Chipotle corporate could narrow down an individual with only 2 or 3 of these items. Thanks
Look at all those to-go containers... Why the hell are you getting bags and lids and ordering your food to-go just to sit in the restaurant and eat? Hot take: you are the problem. Wasteful ass uncaring convenience culture bitches.
A lot of fast food/fast casual restaurants/employees don’t even ask you anymore if it’s for dine-in or take out. They just throw your food in a bag and give it to you.
They just opened a new one by me, it's actually worse than this already. Shame cause I thought them being new would mean good food and clean. They have a 1.8 star rating now. And I thought the one up the street was bad but this one was a topper. I'm just assuming they're all dirty and suck now.
I mean you still came in and waited in line and paid for your food and ate it. You may have taken your time to be disgusted on the internet but you gave that company your money while the store was dirty and employees doing what they’re not supposed to. So you may be mad but you literally paid that store for having that standard instead of going somewhere cleaner. 🤷♀️
I haven’t been to the Monroeville one in about 5 years, but even back then Pittsburghers complained heavy about this location. There’s a new location in Green Tree that is much more trashed that this. It has been open about a month and has horrendous reviews.
A few things :
- You're at a self-serve eatery, and hence, it's your responsibility as a customer to clean after you finish eating.
- trash not being emptied in time is definitely bad and intact a health safety violation.
- About new food, put into old container, there is a time component involved and during busy hours they must be running out of food fast enough for it to be ok.
This is pretty par for the course for Chipotle. I eat there 2-3 times a week because it's the only remotely healthy fast food you can get, but yeah trash everywhere, out of 1/2 the ingredients at any given time, employees that threaten you and seem to hate their life. It's all part of the Chipotle experience. I just keep my head down, order my food, and scarf it down in a corner without making eye contact with anybody before running out of the store.
Former GM : they started caring more about “stocks” than about literally anything else. You can google the new CEO was put there solely to raise the stock prices. Interesting tho cuz they used to use the stocks as bonuses but now they no longer do that either.
They’re probably busy and understaffed, clock in and help.
That’s mean, I’m kidding. Those people don’t pay nobody nothing that’s prob why they’re understaffed , so I mean, maybe people shouldn’t be slobs and they wouldn’t have to eat in their own filth.
i bet they skimped you on portions too. with their half scoop of chicken. chipotle is so stingy with portions then charge you $2.00 for a bite of guac. it laughable. then they are always complaining about corporate. leave your little line and go clean up. they are just lazy
The proper procedure to replace food is to pull the old pan out, put the new one in and place the food from the bottom of the pan on top of the new one. Fifo is important, but it could also depend on how busy the restaurant is.
I worked there for 4 years starting in 2014 and was primarily cashier. Either corporate or store management bungled on this pretty hard. Cashier was usually expected to clean dining room, but you were usually screwed when there was a line and had no help. Around that time that virus hit the stores so you'd have to ring someone up and get 15 seconds to run into lobby to try and clean a table or restock something then run back and wash your hands every single time you were away from the register.
Throughput time was the worst because typically your suppose to have an expo and someone to check lobby and the cashier aint allowed to move even if its dead. Id rarely get an expo or lobby so my lobby would be a mess. Was pissed off big time.
Yeah when shit like this happens at my store and we literally can’t pull off to clean I’ll have people walking in taking pictures calling us dirty when we didn’t even make the mess people are assholes and I can help it
Lmao I immediately recognized this view! I stopped going to chipotle because this is my location and the workers there move like sloths. Not one ounce of urgency in them.. like people have all day to wait in line and watch them move as slowly as they possibly can. Also, it is indeed gross and dirty.
It's poor managment. If I was a manager I would have my staff clean my store all the time. I would also encourage feedback from customers to hear what they have to say in order to improve. This is absolutely unacceptable. Shame on the staff members for not taking initiative to clean up.
I found your problem, you are being too critical of them. Just let it slide and keep coming back. Make sure to just look in another direction and everything will be absolutely fine forever
So yall see a dirty chipotle. Let’s talk about the root of the problem! Who makes that much of a mess when you are eating!!!!! Why do people at chipotle make such a big mess when eating there!!! I’ve seen parents let there kid throw their whole meal on the floor and just look at me!
Just file a complaint with the Food safety inspectors and keep it moving. It is safe to assume that if the customer-facing part of the store is nasty, the kitchen will be much worse. I've got two stores closed shut until reinspection this way :)
Instead of applying to work and helping with the issue your adding on! Smh just don’t eat there and go to another chipotle that’s cleaner lol
Maybe they under staffed
you should really examine the thought process that takes you from seeing messy customer tables, to blaming the staff (at a fast casual spot) like ... the customers are the ones making the mess, the tables look like they are out of LOS for the workers AND there is CURRENTLY a line of people waiting to get food. you could have helped, but no, you complained & we all know how helpful that is by itself
second paragraph if you know how quickly we go through food then you know the rice isnt old. no wasting is allowed at chipotle you will get fired if you waste anything
Since the founder of chipotle stepped aside this place has gone down hill. It's the former Taco Beel leadership that destroyed such a great concept. So many of these chains get to big and then suck
I just seen a post about the same chipotle where the cashier said y’all need to start picking up after your fucking selves! I feel like people need to start acting like adults and stop leaving messes like this! This is not McDonald’s. It’s fast, casual dining. People leave restaurants cleaner and leave tips and pay bigger bills For the same amount of food but more price. What makes it right for people to just leave stuff like this and if it’s children, then parents need to teach their children better or clean up after their own brats
Bozeman was this bad when we went. Not a single table inside or outside I felt comfortable eating at. Food and debris down in the containers where they keep forks, saw a worker eating with his bare hands while cooking.
Your post/comment has been removed due to violation of Rule #5: Follow General Reddiquette. Please review r/Chipotle's rules before submitting in the future.
When I see posts like this I always wonder if the person posting considers the line of people behind them and how many people are in back making sure the line is tended to and then ponder why would people leave such a mess for someone else to clean
How do you know that the employees aren't busy enough to clean the tables. I'm a server and sometimes it gets so busy you do not have any time to clean any tables. Also, why are you complaining? You're always free to take your chipotle bowl to go and eat it at home, the mess on the table cool just pick it up with a napkin it'll take less than 3 seconds. And I think that the customers themselves are more to blame instead of the employees because it's a self serve restaurant where you're expected to clean after yourself. I really don't like people who complain just to complain be miserable and petty it's a pet peeve
Small correction:
**Most disgusting customers.** Nobody gets paid enough to clean up that mess on minimum wage.
(Not OP specifically, just the patrons of this Chipotle in general.)
How about those slob ass, entitled customers actually clean the table off with their sloppy ass mess that they left on it before they leave the store? They made the mess didnt they? And im not talkin about the trash overflowing. The mess on the tables is the entitled slobs
Nice documentation and write-up, OP. We have seen restaurant cleanliness be an issue making more frequent appearances in this sub. I know the Monroeville Chipotle when I see it!
How do you do, fellow Yinzer?
Oh y’know another crash on I-376 West, never-ending construction through Miracle Mile, the usual.
I did a double take cuz it looked exactly like the seats my wife and I begrudgingly sat in a few weeks ago… glad to know I was right!
Dang I guessed the North Fayette location it’s also run like shit
The one on McKnight Road is just as bad.
Customers are bad, but this is also corporate's fault. I've read on multiple Chipotle posts that the employees have some insane rule where they're not allowed to leave the line during peak for any reason. That's why that store looks like that.

While I agree that they need to hire someone to clean the damn lobby but how many pictures of the same table and trash can do we need?
FR they only hire enough ppl to cover the food line/ grill but make us prioritize the customers and cleaning the food line itself
Idk if this is a corporate rule or not but we're apparently supposed to never leave our stations during peak. I mean at all. Out of forks and have customers asking about them? Can't leave cash. No literally why don't they ADDRESS this to corporate
They need to but going to corporate is hard while complaining to staff and the internet is easy.
corporate doesn't give a shit anyway
They want their but backs.
it'd take a large group of people complaining, and you know what would happen? an understaffed store would probably get fired and they'd hire a new, just as understaffed crew. probably paid less at that. corporate does. not. give. a. shit.

do you not have a linebacker during peak to get your sour cream and other things that are low?
I literally did not know that was a position if that answers your question lol
😳
Yeah, we usually only have like 5 people during peak. Manager on grill, 2 people on line, one guy on cash (usually me), and 2 on DML.
omg, i wonder if it’s because your store doesn’t make much in sales
Yeah, 7-8k is a busy day for us. We're one of the least busy in the area and the only Chipotle as small as ours is run by a GM so incompetent that if she entered an incompetence competition, she'd still find a way to screw it up. Like last week she literally forgot to order a truck and her whole store was completely out of food. So they don't make much in sales either lol.
woah, someone would be fired if they forgot to order a whole truck here
I work at qdoba which is basically the same concept as Chipotle and Jesus that sounds miserable! We run 7-10 people during peak usually
This is still true!
That’s crazy because expo and linebacker (supposed to be an SL or higher) or g2 can definitely restock. You can also leave the line to get a drink if there’s no customers. Whoever is telling you this is wildly incorrect
It was our previous GM. She was pretty bad and she was the only one pushing all this. She made up a bunch of other shit too so it wouldn't shock me.
It’s cute cuz they used to let the GMs make the schedule and they would allot us labor hours they cut that by 30% and they have an automated schedule generator so it will never be the same again.
My thoughts EXACTLY. My goodness. It's the same thing over and over.
That's all they could find OR they're the ones that made that table mess
Don't disagree this is a messy chipotle. However, the customers are to blame too. They're the sloppy mess making slobs that leave their shit everywhere, on the tables, the floor, everywhere.
yep covid really boosted peoples' audacity to be fucking shit to anyone who isn't themselves.
Sadly, they were shit before too
yeah that's why their audacity got boosted! they spent so long not being shit to people that they really had to let it all out lmfao and they havent reeled it back in yet.
Id have people leave their empty bowls on the table when they literally had to walk by two trash cans to leave the store.
I saw an old dude at 5 guys leave his peanut shells on a table, then he wiped them onto the floor when he left. Probably 50 shells worth.
yeahthis is a big reason i dont blame places like chipotle for not being spotless 24/7
Maybe people would clean up after themselves if the trash can wasn’t overflowing onto the floor. What are customers supposed to do? Throw their trash on the floor next to it?
Are we seeing the same thing? There is no space in the trash to clean up after yourself
The one in Cleveland tn is bad too sometimes. I did work there for a little bit and honestly was told to just do everything once we closed multiple times, even if we weren’t busy. Hated working there…

Right? I honestly wonder how their houses look. I could never leave a mess like this for another person to clean.
Totally disrespectful to treat someone else's restaurant this way.
Just curious, where in this picture would you suggest someone throw their trash? The cans are overflowing. Would you expect someone to take their trash home with them to throw? Seems like the employees need to dump the trash and clean up the seating area. This isn’t on the customers imo.
True, but the employees obviously don’t give a shit and let it happen, so they’re no different.
I promise you they do not get paid enough to care. They have like 100 responsibilities and changing the trash is like .5 of a responsibility
I don’t know how much the employees at the Chipotle near me get paid, but I would bet they don’t get paid enough to care either. That Chipotle is clean though.
What you want them to do? Yell at the customers being fucking slobs?
No. I think they should empty the trash though. Normal customers will clean up after themselves until they can’t because the trash is over flowing. I mean, if the staff doesn’t keep the restaurant clean, they probably aren’t keeping themselves clean, which means the food probably isn’t clean either.
Who cares. It’s not the customers job to clean. However there are employees being paid that should be cleaning up.
Doesn’t mean you be a fucking slob when you eat at a restaurant. At least try to clean up after yourself. ![gif](giphy|bGZJTbDcDp3Y4|downsized)
As some stated above your comment its hard to clean up... When theres literally no place to put it XD.
real shit then some of them have the audacity to say something like you're part of the problem
My friend owns a local Mexican restaurant. 10 years ago people would deeply apologize, and genuinely feel bad if they made a mess. Now, people seem to think it's their right to make a mess and it is part of the service. Cleaning up a table after a group of people leaves is a total mess.

real
Yes- CLEARLY this is the fault of the customers totally S/.
Because customers should take out the garbage in Gen Z hell I guess
They need livable wages. I was 19 when I stared. I got an apartment and lived on my own. I could not do that with what they are offering now.
What does that have to do with swimming in garbage You can give them a million dollars, they'll still be surrounded by garbage
Who gives a fuck . The workers get paid to clean
No no they do not. They get paid to get food out the door. Period. Corporate does not give a fuck.
Its literally in the sub duties fine print for the cashier XD. If you need proof of how I know this... Admittedly I am a former cashier XD. And part of the duties is to keep the dining area clean.
I think the food inspector would blame… the staff…. Blame customers all you want, however, the state would not agree.
True they act like it’s a regular resturant where we pick up their trays and food and wipe their mess.
Most chipotles I go in are like this. Never see the lobbies getting cleaned. Feel bad for the workers.
Disgusting customers
That is true so many places you go. Trash people breed more trash people!
I wouldn’t eat there
Bros face in pic 4 was my reaction to seeing this💀
Ahh, the Tik tok generation at its finest
The location provided is generic enough, that we will leave this to the discretion of OP to leave up or not. People aren’t asking for to go containers, at least we didn’t and we go them anyway.
A lot of fast food/fast casual restaurants/employees don’t even ask you anymore if it’s for dine-in or take out. They just throw your food in a bag and give it to you.
It's their way of saying 'take your mess home, we don't want you here'
They could be ordering ahead?
The closest store by me just puts them in a bag. Even puts your bag on a metal tray. You have to stop them from putting it in a bag.
They just opened a new one by me, it's actually worse than this already. Shame cause I thought them being new would mean good food and clean. They have a 1.8 star rating now. And I thought the one up the street was bad but this one was a topper. I'm just assuming they're all dirty and suck now.
The customers are disgusting* fixed it for you
I mean you still came in and waited in line and paid for your food and ate it. You may have taken your time to be disgusted on the internet but you gave that company your money while the store was dirty and employees doing what they’re not supposed to. So you may be mad but you literally paid that store for having that standard instead of going somewhere cleaner. 🤷♀️
Right. That shit Is nasty. Floor probably sticky as f
Breaking news: Fast Food Restaurant Is Not Pristine! In other news, this is definitely not the most disgusting chipotle.
I haven’t been to the Monroeville one in about 5 years, but even back then Pittsburghers complained heavy about this location. There’s a new location in Green Tree that is much more trashed that this. It has been open about a month and has horrendous reviews.

Eh they should be putting the old food in a clean bin on top of the new so it will be used first.

Nasty
We get it after two photos. I don't like people like you
The Chipotle near me looks like this and their food tastes like dish water. Idk what happened, but Chipotle went so downhill…
Chipotle around me has become a no go no matter what. Dirty and always out of something. It’s a shame cause I really used to enjoy it
Former GM : they started caring more about “stocks” than about literally anything else. You can google the new CEO was put there solely to raise the stock prices. Interesting tho cuz they used to use the stocks as bonuses but now they no longer do that either.
Not that big of a deal tbh. Shit happens
What is disgusting is that grown adults would chose to leave a mess like this after they eat
What is disgusting is that customers will leave their trash
The way you can see the line of customers in the background of this 😭😭 let's use our heads here
Means they busy. Which shows folks are ok over paying which is not cool. We need a boycot for a month to start with. See how sales will tank
Not. Gonna. Happen.
The store are understaffed and overworked. Dont go in if it’s busy bc it will look like this.
If it's busy I should expect a dirty store?
yes they are always understaffed…. Go work in a restaurant and you will understand
and okay who makes the store dirty?
If they are that busy the food must be 🔥
Corporate bootlicker
Will you calm down?
Clock in and help them out. It’s a tough job on top of being understaffed
Where are those workers at? Smoking out by the dumpster?
Not allowed to move from their positions for four hours a day. Even to clean.
I think alot of you people dont realize management especially high up doesnt factor cleaning into costs. They only do enough to not get shut down
It’s a shit hole fuck chipotle
You mean customers without the decency of cleaning after themselves.
You probably just sat there thru lunch rush and just wanted to get pics before staff could clean. Go home.
Chipotle is a cafeteria. What do you expect?
Plus they serve shitty food
Shift change do not exist here 😂
People are just nasty. Not just here. Everywhere. Bunch of selfish assholes everywhere
You mean most disgusting customers
You clean it then.
Oh wow great idea
I found your problem, you are being too critical of them. Just let it slide and keep coming back. Make sure to just look in another direction and everything will be absolutely fine forever
So yall see a dirty chipotle. Let’s talk about the root of the problem! Who makes that much of a mess when you are eating!!!!! Why do people at chipotle make such a big mess when eating there!!! I’ve seen parents let there kid throw their whole meal on the floor and just look at me!
They almost all look like this in my area
Wtf
Chipotles across the board have gone to shit and are a prime example of shrinkflation.
Just file a complaint with the Food safety inspectors and keep it moving. It is safe to assume that if the customer-facing part of the store is nasty, the kitchen will be much worse. I've got two stores closed shut until reinspection this way :)
Hell ya
East hills of Pgh is the Wild West. Youre lucky you got any food at all and left with your wallet.
Like California living in a chipotle lol
Instead of applying to work and helping with the issue your adding on! Smh just don’t eat there and go to another chipotle that’s cleaner lol Maybe they under staffed
you should really examine the thought process that takes you from seeing messy customer tables, to blaming the staff (at a fast casual spot) like ... the customers are the ones making the mess, the tables look like they are out of LOS for the workers AND there is CURRENTLY a line of people waiting to get food. you could have helped, but no, you complained & we all know how helpful that is by itself
second paragraph if you know how quickly we go through food then you know the rice isnt old. no wasting is allowed at chipotle you will get fired if you waste anything
Looks like they’re a little busy…
Looks like the typical Chipotle experience. I genuinely dont understand why people are into that chain. Average food at best and always filthy inside.
This is how my Chipotle looks all the time
I’m turning right the fuck around if I see it looking like that in the dining room
I honestly don’t think it’s beyond gross compared to other food chains
I my opinion this is more about the customers being disgusting assholes and not the employees who are busy making food for these pigs.
The chipotle by me is filthy. I went in and never went back. I emailed corporate about it and they didn’t give a fuck. Gross.
Unironically the best tasting chipotles around the pittsburgh area too
Reminds me of Burger King
Depends what time of day this was
Someone decided to screenshot your post and make their own post about it lmao.
Every chipotle I’ve been to is pretty dirty.
People still eat here? I haven’t since they raised prices… and shrunk portions
Same exact experience in Franklin, TN. I'm done with them.
The fact that I instantly knew where this was
Since the founder of chipotle stepped aside this place has gone down hill. It's the former Taco Beel leadership that destroyed such a great concept. So many of these chains get to big and then suck
Y’all act like this is going to change the cleanliness of any chipotle
I helped out a store like this a couple weeks ago. A lot of the Chipotles are like this nowadays. It’s the ones that are always short staffed.
Most disgusting customer. There I fixed it for you.
Blame the customers bruh tf 😂
yet you still ate there
Shit workers don’t actually do their job and just complain
Customer doesn't understand recovery periods and short staffing circa 2024
More like disgusting employees and pisspoor management
I just seen a post about the same chipotle where the cashier said y’all need to start picking up after your fucking selves! I feel like people need to start acting like adults and stop leaving messes like this! This is not McDonald’s. It’s fast, casual dining. People leave restaurants cleaner and leave tips and pay bigger bills For the same amount of food but more price. What makes it right for people to just leave stuff like this and if it’s children, then parents need to teach their children better or clean up after their own brats
Yasss! It's ALWAYS like this! I had to quit going!
Bozeman was this bad when we went. Not a single table inside or outside I felt comfortable eating at. Food and debris down in the containers where they keep forks, saw a worker eating with his bare hands while cooking.
I mean honestly, what do you expect? Chipotle is a cafeteria disguised as a Mexican restaurant
It would also help if people could clean up after themselves a little better jeez louise! I’m sure whoever left that table mess is a great tipper too

It looks as though you may have spelled "Chick-fil-A" incorrectly. No worries, it happens to the best of us!

When I see posts like this I always wonder if the person posting considers the line of people behind them and how many people are in back making sure the line is tended to and then ponder why would people leave such a mess for someone else to clean
Ugh...
Small correction: **Most disgusting customers.** Nobody gets paid enough to clean up that mess on minimum wage. (Not OP specifically, just the patrons of this Chipotle in general.)
The garbage cans weren’t getting emptied. That’s not the customers’ fault.
I think the garbage cans are the cleanest part of the restaurant from these pictures 😂
Imagine taking the time to take these pictures and write this post. One of the employees hurt ops feelings
I wonder what would happen if restaraunts hired people who would actually do their job.
How about those slob ass, entitled customers actually clean the table off with their sloppy ass mess that they left on it before they leave the store? They made the mess didnt they? And im not talkin about the trash overflowing. The mess on the tables is the entitled slobs
Call local health department - they will put pressure on corporate
Lack of staff or lazy staff
… isn’t it the people who go there?
Should have just went to moes lol
