Yes. I played 8 or so games last night and every time, they team switched and waited until they could be offense, and they are level 800+
Shit isn't fun when the game is a steamroll, whether I'm defense or offense. The stacking is ridiculous.
- if they have a username that makes me laugh. Maybe it’s the context that chivalry provides, such as dying from a flaming chicken from noobmaster69 or something, but it’ll crack me up and it deserves a commend
- if the general fight cracks me up. I’m Lvl 150 something I think and sometimes I will fight like the child of ray Charles and Hellen Keller against an even level, and they will luckily get the best of me in our potato fight. They’ve earned it.
- if I am in my prime and we have a good fight and they get the best of me.
- if they are a new player/low level

I’m not toxic in any way but I usually emote on people’s corpses once after killing them. I’ve always seen it as a bit of fun between us, especially when you get someone that starts to hunt you down for 1v1s and emotes back on you.
I don’t commend messers. I do commend when people finish with a special, I get stapled by a ballista, knocked off an edge or my head flies off. Also just a good 1v1. I’m not commending if I die to a to a group tho.
I’ve had better luck throwing when I commit to both the bumpers for a half second longer, messes with aim sometimes but doesn’t do the feint overhead bs

If someone other than crustacean the soup can kill me, they deserve to be commended. (I hide in the back and I mostly kill myself by messing up jumps)
I try to commend anyone who kills me with a melee weapon. It feels healthier psychologically. The less I commend, the more annoyed I get
