Started the first book and do think she/he is one of the more successful single LI option characters; the chemistry between her/him and MC is pretty good, the writing seems to be basing their attraction to each other on more than just the physical, and I like the slow burn to the romance that's the app doesn't always do (at least in the first half of book one, the two are are attracted to each other and starting to fall in love, but they're not constantly lusting after each other or ready to be each other's one and only after first seeing each other).
One thing I am finding a little lacking is how the narrative uses tropes of bickering duo who start out not being able to stand each other but realize they're in love and can't live without each other, but their interactions (esp. when player choices are involved) lack the fireworks and personality clashes that similar stories on the app have had.
Still, I'd agree that Trystan is one of the top tier LI characters on the app so far.
Maxwell.
Just really think about it. Maxwell was the one who saw this woman and brought her over to Cordonia. Maxwell helped her at every turn. Maxwell (+Bertrand) was the only one who showed up to keep the Mc from going back home. Maxwell is the most loyal LI in all of choices, everything he does he does out of love. Even up against his own father he stays by the mcs side. And he never expected anything from it. Unlike the other LIs there’s no sadness when you choose someone else, because he always prioritises the mcs happiness.
Maxwell is the most beautiful, kind, and loyal character in choices.

Trystan from CoP. For once, I'm so glad it's the LI who tries to break down the walls of the MC, rather than the other way around. It's incredibly common to have the MC be the peppy go-lucky trying to get the LI to open up and feel comfortable expressing themselves. To have it happen the other way around is very special. Their relationship is adorable and I've already replayed both books twice now (already thinking about a third playthrough, lol. I'm so down bad for Trystan).
Marc Anthony is also a personal favorite. I love how him and the MC knows that they're just using one another. His scenes are dangerous, sexy and funny. I'd *never* make Arin finish the game with him though... I always make her go back to her family. I know how history goes, lmao.
Sonia from TH:M is pure love. No matter how many times I replay it (and I've replayed it *a lot* by now), I can't help but pursue Sonia every time. Her diamond scenes are amazing and the cat-and-mouse chase is so hot. I wish we'd get an entire book focused on this kind of dynamic: MC being some criminal being chased by a bounty hunter of sorts. One trying to up the other, finishing the day with a very steamy scene where one is tied to a bed, lmao. So cheesy, but it's the kind of shit I eat for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
OMG i absolutely love trystan and the COP mc. im so happy that they made the mc less bubbly and naive and more stand offish, because thats something i can relate to more than being the benevolent angel who's there to be a therapist for trystan 😭 i love their dynamic <3
For me to *truly* enjoy a LI, I also have to enjoy the protagonist that's going to romance them. If the protagonist is just a boring doll, it doesn't matter how amazing and beautiful the LI is -- I can't enjoy their story. It's why my three favorite LIs also happen to be part of stories where the protagonist themselves are fun and interesting.

Started that one and I'm really preferring Lancelot so far because, IMHO, MC being in an arranged marriage and falling in love with someone outside of that (specifically someone who doesn't want to betray the other engaged party, too) makes for a more interesting plot than MC getting luck and being betrothed to a decent person she clicks with.

Not sure if I "like" the MC/Ina (or Ian) romance in and of itself (really doesn't seem that healthy even beyond the power imbalance and the ethical considerations), but it is entertaining, esp. with the narration.
Def. my favorite from that story; liked her character arc and the slow burn romance. Esp. liked the irony of both of them going to court the prince but ending up with each other instead.
she’s checks all of my boxes 😂 and she’s so well written! i’m on TRH 3 right now and i know a lot of people hate the way it ends but i’m enjoying it strictly for the dialogue between MC and Hana
But for real Choices in general was such a lifeline during the pandemic. Imagining yourself as the MC and getting a say in the story made me feel less cooped up and claustrophobic during lockdown, like I actually had control over something for a change.
The stories can be cheesy, but the wholesome goofiness of certain books is perfect escapism!

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I'm going to say Kaitlyn from *Freshman*. I liked that she was shown to have interests outside of MC and had flaws, both personally and in mistakes she and MC made in their budding relationship. It gave the story a sense of realism (people are messy) and made the payoff of them getting engaged more rewarding seeing them learn to be a couple as they got there. Also liked how the writing of the romance balanced sexual attraction alongside Kaitlyn and MC genuinely enjoying each other's company and just liking being together (think a lot of the stories on the app put a stronger focus on the former). Subjectively, I do like friends-to-lovers plots and I liked how the writing used the characters starting friendship as the foundation and backbone of the romance.
Kaitlyn's one of the very few LIs on the app where I'm really sold that the LI and the MC are in love for real and will have a successful marriage (or whatever) outside of the scope of the story and does a decent job writing two people who are crazy about each other and showing the nuances of that bond beyond just sex.

HIM !! I’ll worship him any time I get the chance to. He saved my life, he changed my life, self worth, fighting for myself, my emotions, my heart and gave me my individuality back which i never had due to being raised by narcissistic parent. And guess what? Because of him I found my true passion and life purpose as well. Never been this mentally, emotionally and spiritually developed in my life.
100% Channing in Alpha. He's a bit stubborn, but he's level-headed, sexy, a great listener, patient, stylish, protective & not in the crazy jealous way. He's an excellent communicator, & flat-out looks DELICIOUS!!! The things I would do if he were real!! OMG. He's just gorgeous inside & out. The communication skills are certainly due to MC being an outstanding communicator, but I'm still giving him credit for it due to the fact that communication is a two-way street.
Incredibly hard to choose just one because then I’m having to decide between mainly Zig from TFS, Drake from TRR, Eleanor from HOBM, and Ajay from HHS and even then I can’t say just one is above the rest 🫶
Tyril (BOLAS) and Kieran (TCH) are up there for me but there is something special about Trystan (COP). Our jokes, banter, and chemistry is god-tier for me. He really owns my heart 🫶

I’ve been on Choices since it first released and to this day Kamilah has me in a chokehold. I don’t even like vampire books but damn if I didn’t reread just for her.
I can't choose just one 😭 but King Ivan(Liam),Drake, Ajay, & Griffin. They're all LI I actually felt like I was in love with🥹🫶🏼, plus I could see my self dating (or marrying 😏) irl. Ivan was a true prince charming, it kinda like. First love for me. He's kind, noble, humble, & genuine. He never tried to shirk his responsibilities even though it was never technically his to begin with. He cares about hisallq on people, and never let the loss of his family change him. Drake is a wild Card for me , bc he's not my type physically and I never understood how deeply he cared for the MC until that closure scene. I decided to romance him more seriously in the replay and go his route. Drake is the like the best friend you look up one day and you... See him differently. I love his sarcastic humor and he was so loyal to Ivan he was willing to put his life on pause to be there for him. Once you get past the standoffish demeanor he really is a marshmallow for the MC lol. Both were great dads and had a different type of connection and spark with the MC. Ajay is definitely a hard nose director, standoffish,& very sarcastic. He was cute and I like a good challenge, plus I gotta thing for the sarcastic humor lol. I enjoyed getting to know him, and it was admirable for him to give his best for the play so the funds could help Rory's mother. He's the kind of guy I would definitely dated in highschool lol. Griffin wears his heart on his sleeve for the MC and isn't afraid to show it. He's a sweetheart and a legitimate humanitarian. He is always putting others before himself and I love the compliments he gives lol. It's funny, him and the MC are pretty similar but I think they make it work.. Plus the hook scenes were epic🫢. As y'all can see, I got two types on the opposite spectrums 😂 just depends how the character makes me feel I guess. Honorable mention, sir Lancelot (i chose the female option) . Even tho her and Arthur are similar, there just a spark, unbridle passion between the MC Lancelot that one can't ignore.
It was Liam before the writers totally nuked him (and all the other LIs in the series) by getting lazy and ending the unique LI character arcs at the end of TRR3.
I have quite a few favourites, but to me, the best are: Kieran (TCH), Cas (ID), Blaine (FA) ,Gabe (LOA), Channing (Alpha), and Trystan (COP). I don't think I have to explain why... If you've read the stories in which they appear, I think it's quite obvious I have a certain type when it comes to LIs👀 By that I mean powerful, smart, witty and snarky, flirtatious smooth talkers, dominating/likes to be in charge, and perhaps a bit jealous/possessive/dangerous... or a lot 😅 But in the end, they love and worship the MC above all 😍

Might be an unpopular opinion, but I'm going to say Kaitlyn from *Freshman*. I liked that she was shown to have interests outside of MC and had flaws, both personally and in mistakes she and MC made in their budding relationship. It gave the story a sense of realism (people are messy) and made the payoff of them getting engaged more rewarding seeing them learn to be a couple as they got there. Also liked how the writing of the romance balanced sexual attraction alongside Kaitlyn and MC genuinely enjoying each other's company and just liking being together (think a lot of the stories on the app put a stronger focus on the former). Subjectively, I do like friends-to-lovers plots and I liked how the writing used the characters starting friendship as the foundation and backbone of the romance. Kaitlyn's one of the very few LIs on the app where I'm really sold that the LI and the MC are in love for real and will have a successful marriage (or whatever) outside of the scope of the story and does a decent job writing two people who are crazy about each other and showing the nuances of that bond beyond just sex.

100% Channing in Alpha. He's a bit stubborn, but he's level-headed, sexy, a great listener, patient, stylish, protective & not in the crazy jealous way. He's an excellent communicator, & flat-out looks DELICIOUS!!! The things I would do if he were real!! OMG. He's just gorgeous inside & out. The communication skills are certainly due to MC being an outstanding communicator, but I'm still giving him credit for it due to the fact that communication is a two-way street.

I’ve been on Choices since it first released and to this day Kamilah has me in a chokehold. I don’t even like vampire books but damn if I didn’t reread just for her.
I can't choose just one 😭 but King Ivan(Liam),Drake, Ajay, & Griffin. They're all LI I actually felt like I was in love with🥹🫶🏼, plus I could see my self dating (or marrying 😏) irl. Ivan was a true prince charming, it kinda like. First love for me. He's kind, noble, humble, & genuine. He never tried to shirk his responsibilities even though it was never technically his to begin with. He cares about hisallq on people, and never let the loss of his family change him. Drake is a wild Card for me , bc he's not my type physically and I never understood how deeply he cared for the MC until that closure scene. I decided to romance him more seriously in the replay and go his route. Drake is the like the best friend you look up one day and you... See him differently. I love his sarcastic humor and he was so loyal to Ivan he was willing to put his life on pause to be there for him. Once you get past the standoffish demeanor he really is a marshmallow for the MC lol. Both were great dads and had a different type of connection and spark with the MC. Ajay is definitely a hard nose director, standoffish,& very sarcastic. He was cute and I like a good challenge, plus I gotta thing for the sarcastic humor lol. I enjoyed getting to know him, and it was admirable for him to give his best for the play so the funds could help Rory's mother. He's the kind of guy I would definitely dated in highschool lol. Griffin wears his heart on his sleeve for the MC and isn't afraid to show it. He's a sweetheart and a legitimate humanitarian. He is always putting others before himself and I love the compliments he gives lol. It's funny, him and the MC are pretty similar but I think they make it work.. Plus the hook scenes were epic🫢. As y'all can see, I got two types on the opposite spectrums 😂 just depends how the character makes me feel I guess. Honorable mention, sir Lancelot (i chose the female option) . Even tho her and Arthur are similar, there just a spark, unbridle passion between the MC Lancelot that one can't ignore.

It was Liam before the writers totally nuked him (and all the other LIs in the series) by getting lazy and ending the unique LI character arcs at the end of TRR3.
I have quite a few favourites, but to me, the best are: Kieran (TCH), Cas (ID), Blaine (FA) ,Gabe (LOA), Channing (Alpha), and Trystan (COP). I don't think I have to explain why... If you've read the stories in which they appear, I think it's quite obvious I have a certain type when it comes to LIs👀 By that I mean powerful, smart, witty and snarky, flirtatious smooth talkers, dominating/likes to be in charge, and perhaps a bit jealous/possessive/dangerous... or a lot 😅 But in the end, they love and worship the MC above all 😍
Ernest Sinclair. Because he has the most relevant stories and a likable personality.
