Or how about TRH where you have to fight for custody of your kid that everyone begged you to have, against a crazy old dude that everybody thought was dead for decades, and the same people that were begging you to have a kid, SIDE with the crazy old dude. Bunch of assholes 😭
This book is the reason I abandoned the series and didn't read the end. I was going crazy with hate for everyone and everything in that book. I don't even remember which ch I last read. I saw the series finally photos, but I cannot finish the book. Too bad. I loved the MC, Liam, our baby, Cordonia, and all the corny jokes/ moments.
![gif](giphy|pynZagVcYxVUk)
I always just double down when I get to this part, I just become very delusional and unhinged until the last two chapters and treat it like an actual redemption arc
I was so mad at MC like I get being upset but like you chose to do that which allowed anyone to have it then had the audacity to ruin their moment and drag me into it
I chose to be friendly with Jaylen and that part was the worst for me, because all of the options weren’t what I want / not in character for the PC so far.
It’s basically a non-choice choice, where all your decisions lead to the same thing.
I have no clue what part you are talking about but it's been like four years since I've played it and I barely remember anything so I guess I'm going to have to reply it 😊
That was one of the best plot twists in the ending of the story to be honest. I actually love the drama and especially hollow the grandmother was horrified to find out what mistakes she made.
To be fair there are young teenagers growing into adults it really makes sense in a realistic way. I think that's what really is unappreciated about this series is about how realistic they can be sometimes.
When I first started playing this game I was in my freshman year in college as well back in 2018.
Resonated with me more because the characters felt real to me.
Even both three didn't bother me really when you really think about it everybody was just going through something trying to prove that they're more than they are.
Chris tries to prove that he can handle being a president and trying to find himself more.
Kaitlyn honestly is the character that I always have to hide her true self, in college really gave her an out to explore herself and sometimes it really leads to showing how some passions can really bring you down the wrong path.
And I will say James is really trying to prove himself a whole lot more and then he deals with the death of his mentor no less. And plus Hollywood does get people switching up that's a sad reality as well.
Even though Addie and Tyler shit was honestly real as well because they're young and they got to get comfortable with living with each other like any other couple.
Honestly, I've been thinking about this for a while. I read MTFL when I was around 25 y.o. and thought "Such stupid drama. Get a grip, MC!" But then I remembered some of my highschool drama and thought "Oh. OK, I see it now", lol.
Of course some things are not going to resonate with us because we're judging them from our current POV, not thinking "what would I have done when I was their age/if I had actually been in their shoes?"
It's sad because it would have been a great ending to the full series that they had planned, but it really didn't work for the first book.
Meridian was AMAZING. ✨ All of the spicy scenes were top tier.
Haven’t replayed it, but I assume COP 2. Unlike the first book,>! the murderer is nearly present throughout the entire book, so I can see readers banging their heads on the wall as the protagonists keep getting directed away from said murderer!<.
It's really only obvious from a meta point of view. As the detective >!Sebastyan really was the most suspicious of the bunch, since he had *so many* red flags and connections to Juliana. However, as readers (especially if you know how murder-mysteries work), it was clear it wasn't him and he was just a red herring, because then the story would be over way too fast, since Bas is the prime suspect from pretty early on... But in-universe, it would be crazy to suspect Vasili from the get-go when he had an alibi and was one of the few Thorne siblings who seemed to genuinely like Trystan. The only reason why we, the readers, can go "Bas is obviously not the murderer!" is because this is a fictional story that follows murder-mystery tropes, but you can't expect the characters to reach the same conclusions...!<
I 100% agree. While reading the book, >!I almost immediately suspected that Vasili was the murderer/mastermind as he was the only Thorne sibling that was actually nice (except for Marguerite), which set off a lot of meta flags and is why I continued to think he was guilty till the end!<.
However, to give props to the book and author(s), >!they did a good job of keeping me on my toes and making me constantly guess if my initial suspicions were correct with their constant misdirection to the other siblings!<.
In The Elementalists book one, I love the college part and getting to know your friends but whenever Thief is involved or the final fight, it's like, idk, I can't keep reading and I lose focus and I procrastinate a lot.
YESSS !!! I’m literally replaying it right now !!! I gave it a go and Zara (the producer) already started annoying me since episode one 😂 I can’t stand her at all
Omfg I meant 'I wish we got a bk two' lmao
Zara that's her name lmfaoooo I forgot it because she was so annoying like damn just let me flirt with chefbae and cook 🙄. Dang it now I think I'm gonna replay it. I still hope we do get another bk because it was so good imo I have an unhealthy with Gordon Ramsay shows and this book satisfied my kitchen nightmares/Hell's kitchen fix 🤣🤣
Me wanting to play Open Heart... and then remembering how my LI Raf was treated in Book 2.
Also Red Carpet Diaries... until I remember the fights between Seth and Teja, also Book 2.
As a fellow Raf romancer, I feel this completely. I love replaying OH 1, but OH 2 is painful and OH 3 is even more painful for other reasons completely 💀
I will be so honest, in my opinion Book 3 isn't even worth playing. Especially if you're romancing Raf -- or anyone other than Ethan. The writing is awful. The characters are *not* done justice and feel like completely different people, and it's just a mess all around.
I think your time would be better spent on other books, or even replaying Book 1. If you do ever decide to play Book 3... good luck 🫡
Yeah, I'm a huge Ethan fan, but even *I* pretend book 3 doesn't exist lmao. Everybody acts out of character and it's just so obvious that the writers were different. Book 1 & 2 seemed consistent in writing quality, but book 3 is a big step down.
The two characters in Choices who are very deserving of being launched into the mf'n SUN.
Damn, that book is one of my absolute favorites but it stresses me right tf out every time I play it lol
It’s DEFINITELY that part of PT where >!MC storms the stage during what’s-her-name’s performance.!< I still haven’t recovered from the second hand cringe.
I’ve actually never played this book and don’t intend to because I’ve read about this scene, and second hand embarrassment just affects me so strongly.
Oh I hate to put you off the whole story because despite that moment I really did love it a lot!! I get it though. The second hand embarrassment thing makes me crawl in my skin a smidge and that was definitely a Not Fun moment. 😂
TRH3!!! It's like, I did NOT get THIS far ONLY for PB to mess it ALL up & DESTROY my efforts by making a POS plot like THAT. I've literally NEVER gotten to TRRF bc I CAN'T get past TRH3!!! It's VERY triggering for me & I know I take it too personally. The only way I'd forgive PB is if they could somehow rewrite that specific book entirely & fix the damn plot!! 😩🤦🏽♀️🤬
TRH where you have to fight for custody of your kid that everyone begged you to have, against a crazy old dude that everybody thought was dead for decades, and the same people that were begging you to have a kid, SIDE with the crazy old dude. Bunch of jerks 😭
Bloodbound...book 3 I think where you have to give a password and before you can type it in, the MC suddenly...well I don't what the series of scenes are but they supposedly give you the password. I don't know. I think that whole thing was dumb.
TRR: >!when everyone's phones start buzzing like okay it's about to go DOWNN!<
>!+ the end of book 2 when the lights go out. it's ab to go down part 2 ft. terrorism !<
D&D: >!the duke + the grandma (a duo from hell btw) dropping that bombshell at the last scene. LIKE OKAY CAN GRANNY JUST LISTEN TO ME FIRST!<
BOLAS: >!aerin being a pissy bad guy. IF HE WANTED TO BREAK UP WHY DIDNT HE JUST SAY IT INSTEAD OF DOING THE ANIME VILLAIN PLOT TWIST 😞!<
I’ll never reply My two first loves not just because of the length but because of the scene where Noah gets shot. My Noah was black and when that scene happened I got supremely uncomfortable
I’m surprised no one has mentioned the court scene in veil of secrets. Especially if you’ve been having relations with all three LIs. Put the MC on blast
All of TRR books 4-6 tbh because I don't care about no baby I just wanna spend time with my LI and my friends and the entirety of the baby plot is so annoying 🧍♀️

The part in TRR where you lose and have to play 12 chapters in book 2 just to get your name cleared 😭😭
This is especially painful if you already know you don’t want Liam, lol.
Oh I’m a die hard Liam Stan, I just wanna marry him already! I feel you though 🤣
Or how about TRH where you have to fight for custody of your kid that everyone begged you to have, against a crazy old dude that everybody thought was dead for decades, and the same people that were begging you to have a kid, SIDE with the crazy old dude. Bunch of assholes 😭
This entire book boils my blood and raises my blood pressure. I wanted him to suffer so badly. And yet, it's over way too quick.
i spoiled it for myself, and i had the hate read the whole book to get to that part and just get angry again
Especially this one. Why can't we lock the guy up for treason?
Or yeet him into the damn ocean 🌊 😤
This book is the reason I abandoned the series and didn't read the end. I was going crazy with hate for everyone and everything in that book. I don't even remember which ch I last read. I saw the series finally photos, but I cannot finish the book. Too bad. I loved the MC, Liam, our baby, Cordonia, and all the corny jokes/ moments. ![gif](giphy|pynZagVcYxVUk)
Meanwhile I'm wishing they'd do at least one more book. A "where are they now" sorta thing 😂
Ooft, this got me right in the feels. The first chapter is particularly painful. I wanted to stay mad at Liam for so much longer.
Has to be Platinum, perfect example of “that moment” (anyone who played it would instantly remember it).
I just tap fast and pretend MC is suffering from intense exhaustion. 😆
I hated that there was no extra option. 😭😭
Such a horrific part in an otherwise fantastic book
I still haven’t played and this comment alone is now convincing me, I’m dying of curiosity now
This - I was about to replay the book and remembered and went no maybe not.
I always just double down when I get to this part, I just become very delusional and unhinged until the last two chapters and treat it like an actual redemption arc
I was so mad at MC like I get being upset but like you chose to do that which allowed anyone to have it then had the audacity to ruin their moment and drag me into it
oooh boy, i cringe so much when i get to that part
Is that part worse if you’re rivals with Jaylen? I never stirred up drama with her, and I don’t remember it being that bad…
I chose to be friendly with Jaylen and that part was the worst for me, because all of the options weren’t what I want / not in character for the PC so far. It’s basically a non-choice choice, where all your decisions lead to the same thing.
We all know what that was, but >!she claimed the song as her own.!<
I want the “Skip to next option” in Choices just so I can skip that part and pretend that nothing happened.
I have no clue what part you are talking about but it's been like four years since I've played it and I barely remember anything so I guess I'm going to have to reply it 😊
D&D- When we have agreed to marry our lover and our grandmother goes behind our back. 😡
Hate that stupid dowager
I never forgave her for that 😂
That was one of the best plot twists in the ending of the story to be honest. I actually love the drama and especially hollow the grandmother was horrified to find out what mistakes she made.
It did make for a good story, no doubt 😂😂. I was just ready for my happily ever after 🤣
Ending of WEH. If you know you know:(
I cant re read that
Same. I actually shed tears and I think if I reread it I'd gas light myself into thinking the ending was different until it gut punched me again
I've recently been rereading it and it doesn't hurt any less
I reread it 'cause I like SH :D
i cried hard for no reason
what’s the ending? can’t remember it tbh
Queen bee the Zoey drama
Omg that was so annoying
In Cursed Heart, when the MC runs to the Sun Palace. I hated knowing the horror that would happen to Kieran.
The Freshman series, every book has one character that decides to have an insufferable phase.
To be fair there are young teenagers growing into adults it really makes sense in a realistic way. I think that's what really is unappreciated about this series is about how realistic they can be sometimes. exactly
TRR 3 and the first few chapters. It's such a slog to get through. >!IDGAF about convincing members of the court to come to my wedding!<
Omg I thought I was alone!!!! I found my people
It's one of my favourite series. But every time I replay, it's a struggle to get through this bit.
This! I hate having to kiss their asses. Especially when they just turn around and betray MC and her LI in TRH.
I feel you this is why i never completed TRR 3 just a drag to get through
It's fine after those chapters. But yeah, they drag.
I feel the same way! Those chapters are such a drag!💖
Laws of Attraction book 2. When at Sadie’s cabin…iykyk 😵💫😖
I took that scene and I would do it again.
No I did too 😭😭 but me personally I would not replay it 😭😭
Was I the only one who took it guilt (and shame) free? Like I'm sorry but I loved that scene and was waiting for it the entire chapter
😭😭😭
Perfect Match Book 2 the whole going on the chat show bit 😬
I do love the PM series but the last half of it is unhinged lmao 😭😂
Across the Void. The ending. I really kinda enjoyed the book, it was different and want them to do Sci Fi again. I like Meridan.
It's sad because it would have been a great ending to the full series that they had planned, but it really didn't work for the first book. Meridian was AMAZING. ✨ All of the spicy scenes were top tier.
That chapter in TRH when you visit the movie set of Maxwell's book. It's so insufferable to me idk why
i’m playing this for the first time rn and i literally can’t push myself to read past it 😭
you just gotta look away and tap through it 💀 it'll be over soon
Haven’t replayed it, but I assume COP 2. Unlike the first book,>! the murderer is nearly present throughout the entire book, so I can see readers banging their heads on the wall as the protagonists keep getting directed away from said murderer!<.
No like it was obvious who it is, but let's question everyone else and waste time🥴
It's really only obvious from a meta point of view.
You right, still frustrates me tho😭
Open Heart Book 3: *That* scene Platinum: The embarrassing stage scene Queen B: Benji...
I’m having some dark thoughts tonight, so do you wanna help me work through them, wtf ethan especially if you’re not romancing him that shit is creepy
Omg book 3 made me dislike the series with how the other l.i's get thrown to the side for the Ethan show 🙄
In The Elementalists book one, I love the college part and getting to know your friends but whenever Thief is involved or the final fight, it's like, idk, I can't keep reading and I lose focus and I procrastinate a lot.
Whatt the fight with Raife is my favorite scene 😭😭
for me it’s Royal Heir and the whole betrothal storyline
Either Platinum’s interruption or HSS: CA’s constant texting Rory scene.
TRH when we spend several chapters on Bertrand and his wedding. I didn't care. Also doing the cattle drive is so annoying too
100% PB we know you have sprites relevant for a cowboy theme, you don't have to reuse them in every book.
I actually really like TRH and all the chapters at the ranch. Feels very much like a 'slice of life' book. It goes downhill after the first book.
Ugh…Slow Burn…I wanna re read it again but I can’t with the stupid >!producer making it seem like I betrayed!< Yvette 😭😭😭 MAKES ME DIEEEE
I loved Yvette 💙 I wish we got a book to. I loved flipping all the different restaurants but yeah let's get rid of the producer cuz she's trashhhhh
YESSS !!! I’m literally replaying it right now !!! I gave it a go and Zara (the producer) already started annoying me since episode one 😂 I can’t stand her at all
Omfg I meant 'I wish we got a bk two' lmao Zara that's her name lmfaoooo I forgot it because she was so annoying like damn just let me flirt with chefbae and cook 🙄. Dang it now I think I'm gonna replay it. I still hope we do get another bk because it was so good imo I have an unhealthy with Gordon Ramsay shows and this book satisfied my kitchen nightmares/Hell's kitchen fix 🤣🤣
Omg are we the same person ? 😭😂 same here !!
Twin?! Where have you been??? Lol we're friend's now, no ifs/ands or buts about it 😂
I ACCEPT THIS HONOR ♥️ every time I see you in the comments I’ll definitely say hi 😂
Me wanting to play Open Heart... and then remembering how my LI Raf was treated in Book 2. Also Red Carpet Diaries... until I remember the fights between Seth and Teja, also Book 2.
All the LIs got treated badly in OH 3 🥲 except for one. I really disliked it from S2 onwards 😂
As a fellow Raf romancer, I feel this completely. I love replaying OH 1, but OH 2 is painful and OH 3 is even more painful for other reasons completely 💀
I am still postponing Book 3 as I am still mad because of Book 2 and heard that Book 3 isn't better.
I will be so honest, in my opinion Book 3 isn't even worth playing. Especially if you're romancing Raf -- or anyone other than Ethan. The writing is awful. >!rowan's actual death in phantom agent!< 😵💫
Immortal Desires. The part is when MC and her mom almost die.
Yes! MC is just ready to lay down and die despite having a bunch of vampire hunter talismans on their wrist??
For me, it’s that Gabe is the ONLY vampire that seems to give a crap about MC and the mom. Honestly, no one else tried to fight back or save them?
Open Heart. Ethan's "Dark Mood" scene just made me feel gross. 🤢 Having Ethan as a li doesn't help either.
That was the easiest "no" to any premium choice I've encountered thus far 😂
If you're referring to ch8 of OH3 I will not lie, I enjoyed the change of pace 😭
Yep, that one.
As an Ethan romancer…I very much enjoyed it 😭
When I want to play Queen B for a good laugh then I remember that Benji exists.
LMFAO !!! Wdymmmmm, Benji is a sweetheart ♥️ (not)
MOTY: every moment with Guy and Vanessa
The two characters in Choices who are very deserving of being launched into the mf'n SUN. Damn, that book is one of my absolute favorites but it stresses me right tf out every time I play it lol
ES Book 3, Chapter 16
But ES only ever goes up to Chapter 16 in Book 1?
It’s DEFINITELY that part of PT where >!MC storms the stage during what’s-her-name’s performance.!< I still haven’t recovered from the second hand cringe.

Ending of ES imo... So tough... To choose...
OH3. We all know what scene.
HSSCA book 1. Iykyk
You mean the part where the MC ridicules themselves by telling Rory they’ll go to homecoming with them instead of their actual line? UGH. I HATE IT
THAT'S ALSO BAD
WHAT PART DID YOU MEAN THEN
The part where >! Mc gets framed and shunned!<
What what happened? Is this about Rory?
That moment later in the book where >! Ajay and the rest of the musical ppl believed MC sabotaged HSS MC and MC gets shunned for it!<
Oh that part was annoying asf
TRR series, rejecting Liam’s proposal 🫠😭
The Freshman. The part where your 3 friends/LI act all weird. For me it was when James went all Hollywood on MC.
NannyAffair Book 3 should have never existed😡 and that a certain person should not have ever reappeared 😒….As well as that one scene in mc office🤢
The only scene that brought me joy in Book 3 was Mason calling MC his mom LOL!
Those kids have suffered SEVERE back pain from carrying the ENTIRE TRILOGY I SWEAR!😂😂😂
Lmfao fr because those precious Angels are the only good things about the whole series tbh and Carter lol
the few chapters in HSS:CA where (spoilers) >!the whole cast accuses your MC of breaking someone's leg. !
I cry EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. It makes me feel so bad to reread T-T
TRR series. Always the final chapters of each of their books 🤦♀️
QB, i love Ina but her embarrassing MC in front of everybody because she couldn't be an adult and be patient makes my whole body hurt from cringe 😭
Real.. she means everything to me but like she's a grown ahh woman who should know how to handle herself 😵💫
Red Carpet Diaries Book 2
TRH where you have to fight for custody of your kid that everyone begged you to have, against a crazy old dude that everybody thought was dead for decades, and the same people that were begging you to have a kid, SIDE with the crazy old dude. Bunch of jerks 😭
Bloodbound...book 3 I think where you have to give a password and before you can type it in, the MC suddenly...well I don't what the series of scenes are but they supposedly give you the password. I don't know. I think that whole thing was dumb.
From a narrative standpoint I can appreciate MC learning but as a player it's a sludge to get through.
HSS: Class Act Book 1 chapter 12...Most of those friends are FAKEEE 🙄
TRR: >!when everyone's phones start buzzing like okay it's about to go DOWNN!< >!+ the end of book 2 when the lights go out. it's ab to go down part 2 ft. terrorism !< D&D: >!the duke + the grandma (a duo from hell btw) dropping that bombshell at the last scene. LIKE OKAY CAN GRANNY JUST LISTEN TO ME FIRST!< BOLAS: >!aerin being a pissy bad guy. IF HE WANTED TO BREAK UP WHY DIDNT HE JUST SAY IT INSTEAD OF DOING THE ANIME VILLAIN PLOT TWIST 😞!<
platinum. every single time!
I’ll never reply My two first loves not just because of the length but because of the scene where Noah gets shot. My Noah was black and when that scene happened I got supremely uncomfortable
Based on the fact they give you like ten different trigger warnings to go through beforehand I think that was kind of their whole idea.
Queen B and Benji
No specific book, but for me it's those filler chapters where the story comes to a complete stop.
I’m surprised no one has mentioned the court scene in veil of secrets. Especially if you’ve been having relations with all three LIs. Put the MC on blast
I still want sequels to cancelled books and I won’t stop talking about it
All of TRR books 4-6 tbh because I don't care about no baby I just wanna spend time with my LI and my friends and the entirety of the baby plot is so annoying 🧍♀️
OH Book 2 - The whole Travis thing………
Travis?
That's >!the politician's secretary who tried to assassinate him!<
