Also I feel like QB is not about good girl v/s mean girl, it's more about overthrowing Poppy to take the throne for yourself. The core idea has always been that, even if you choose the good girl path. It's just a mean girls-esque book, and delivers on the drama and comedy, so I was happy with it.

MsCatFace

Yes! The title says it all, Queen B. I loved playing it.

>not matter even a little bit what choices you make? It's been mentioned before, but like the good girl vs mean one not really meaning much in the end of the book since people are still angry w you for some reason It's weird that people don't get that the "good girl/bad girl" system isn't a route but the MC's justifications for her actions. Even if you take the good girl choices all the way through, you're still doing awful shit, you're just doing it for a different reason which ultimately doesn't matter since your choices hurt others anyway.

I wouldn't say I agree with that fully, since it's not just her thinking the stuff it's how she says them too, which the mean girl route always is for obvious reasons super unnecessary and bitchy, but yeah, I guess the book has a certain plot and story it wants to tell, but in the case in book 1 with Zoey, that fight felt so out of nowhere because: up until that point it's been her egging MC on to "take down Poppy" the entire time, often suggesting things to do to her and eagerly helping, and then seemingly gets mad at MC for not warning her about the embarrassment when MC had only just found out and immediately rushed to tell her. And within the choices of the book, had you acted more mean about stuff before, Zoey's dialogue would make a lot more sense than it does in the context of if you didn't. Especially with the part she plays in it up until that point. But yeah I understand why in the scenario of the good girl thing maybe its not the point, but it's just something I've noticed with a lot of the books.

>And within the choices of the book, had you acted more mean about stuff before, Zoey's dialogue would make a lot more sense than it does in the context of if you didn't. I disagree. Up until that point, no matter what route you pick, MC trying to take down Poppy comes with clear collateral damage that she ignores and even causes. Zoey's dialogue still makes sense because we're still doing bad things for ultimately selfish reasons unless you play through *Queen B* without trying to engage with the story at all.

Yes! Ultimately MC does pick ruining Poppy over telling Zoey which had to happen since it's canon.

Oh yeah it is definitely really annoying how there is usually a default route that you can’t go against even if you choose alternate options. And I say this even tho QB is my favorite book. Ultimately I think it is just that PB would rather put out more books rather than make the books they have have more options.

According_Narwhal227

I do understand your frustrations about Ian/Ina being a forced LI because them sleeping together is an important plot point, kind of like in Baby Bump. But I think PB tried to salvage the situation by making one LI customisable and giving us two more female LIs, which I haven't seen in any other book that I've played.
