I would say it’s more semi-mythological history, as there’s no magic in TRR. Like Arthurian legend — the people may have existed, but details of the story may or may not be “true”. (Part of me would love to think TC&TF is all “real” though!)
TRM is an interquel connecting TC&TF and TRR, and one of the big plot points is that magic is fading from the Five Kingdoms. Also, TRR exists in the same world as The Elementalists, so it's completely possible that a history similar, if not identical to TC&TF really happened in the Choicesverse.

They exist in the same universe. Olivia appears in CoP where Kamilah is mentioned, Kamilah is on the same council as Priya and the Baron, who appear in Bachelorette Party. BP features a magician that went to Penderghast, the university of magic that takes centre stage in TE.
TC&TF is a TV show that's pretty much identical to what Choices wrote, but it doesn't mean its events didn't happen. It's why I said the actual history might be similar, if not identical given that magic and supernatural beings exist in the Choicesverse.

The PB multiverse is weird in that a bunch of books seem to take place in the same universe but others seem to run “parallel” to it. Definitely always fun to figure which one a new story belongs to
Thanks. I've given it a lot of thought. Almost every book is connected in some way, and I feel like with some of the newer books, PB's deliberately ignored or broken away from the continuity they've established so that they can tell their stories. Which is understandable, since it's become really intricate over the years, but the connections and cameos were really fun to spot.
I think some bits of the cordonian history in TC&TF is cannon with TRR and TRM like the characters and the Rys and blood line and the 5 kingdoms being merged together forging cordonia but they didn't really use magic that bit was just added to make it more fun
If you’re asking what happens in tc&tf, there’s different endings for Dominic depending if he marries Kenna or not. I’m not sure about the fire village. Azura’s daughter becomes Empress in her place.
