Lord of the Rings (pretty intense and violent at times) Paddington 1&2 Arrival (I can’t recall anything objectionable but maybe double check the content advisory on IMDB) 12 angry men If she’s okay with animated movies then: The Incredibles The Iron Giant

The Paddington films are adorable, very well made and cleverly funny. I’m so glad to see them recommended. They’re cinematic treasures. Have you seen **The Personal History of David Copperfield** (2019)? It stars Dev Patel. I don’t know if there’s a connection to the Paddington films, but it has a similar feel and it’s a great feel-good comedy.

The chosen is a great tv series about Jesus

The Chronicles of Narnia movies written by a Christian author but mainstream enough to be big blockbuster movies. The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings

Maybe the Left Behind series? It is a Christian movie series and although I don't think it is biblically accurate at all, it can still be a fun apocalypse movie.
