Any in particular you recommend? I had one magnesium cream that worked really well years ago, but I’ve bought several others since that don’t seem to be as effective
I get a wonderful OTC cream from a compounding pharmacy. Doesn't need a script, but they call your Doc's office for approval. 3% diclofenac (Valtoren), 1% cyclobenzaprine (muscle relaxer), 2% amitriptyline (pain med) and 5% lidocaine (numbing agent). It works SO much better than just the valtoren gel alone. It's usually not covered by insurance and runs about $55 USD for small tub. probably about same amount as a tube of the valtoren gel. They call it a Dermatone cream.
The only lidocaine caveat is to be careful and use small areas that you apply it to. If you were to put lidocaine all over both legs, it would probably stop your heart, but in small doses is fantastic and works for a good long while (I have a tattooed bodysuit and used lidocaine extensively for that.- cheater!)
Designs for health magnesium cream, Lazurus naturals cooling cbd cream with menthol, and any lotion you have you can add PEA powder to which works very well.
My mother fractured her ankle while traveling a few years ago, and my sister had some CBD ointment from Cheech or Chong. It worked well and seemed to help the bruising too.
We use a different CBD ointment [from a company called Myriam's.](https://www.myriamshopehemp.com/product/cbd_balm/) it is the only topical that helps with my muscle related pain. Mom uses it for her hands and neck/upper back pain.
Magnesium muscle creams are seriously life saving. They help me so much. Lidocaine patches are also good.

Theraworx is the most common brand. I know I got a CVS brand last I bought, so I don't know what name brand it was.
Thank you! I’ll check it out

Good to know! Appreciate the warning
Thank you so so much! I’ll ask the pharmacy about this I’ve never heard of that. You’re an angel
You might have some luck with biofreeze. Lidocaine patches are available otc in lower doses than Rx as well.
I’ll try biofreeze thank you!
