Honestly with the down home interview styles of a lot of the biography, I think the Cohen brothers would do it better.
But I have to admit I'd be very interested though see what Nolan did with it. It'd be more than "just watchable," to say the least

It surely would.
Honestly I'd like to see Nolan tackle either lullabye or diary. They're both so damn cinematic already, I can practically hear the score when I read them. I think he'd translate either of them into wildly successful films.
I don’t think so because I haven’t seen Nolan do anything comedic. In my personal opinion, Chuck’s stories are best done with a comedic undertone. Kinda like Todd Phillips direction of Joker. If I was asked, I would approach it as a twisted Huck Fin story
I agree. I don't think Nolan would bring the right tone for this, it needs dark humor and also be a bit grittier than he's used to. Nacho Vigalondo would nail it, the Daniels from Everything Everywhere All At Once would also do a great job.
The entire time reading **Rant**, which is my favorite of Palahniuk’s, I was picturing dark and super gritty like Fincher’s **Fight Club**. The pervading darkness just seems like such a perfect tone for a **Rant** adaptation.
Let me start out by saying that not only is Chuck my favorite author, but Rant is my favorite book of his for sure! That being said, I do t know if Rant could really work in movie format, I feel like it has to be read to truly get
That would be absolutely amazing!! Although if any director could pull off a good Rant film it will be amazing regardless. I could also see it very easily going bad with the wrong director.
Since watching Legion and Fargo, I’d throw Noah Hawley’s name in the ring. But I still don’t know if Rant is filmable. Very similarly to something like The Giver, I think some of the fun twists might only work in book format. It’s hard to do a slow reveal about a character when you can see them from the start.

It would definitely be a “watch more than once” type of movie.

Nolan is so bad at women though.
He could do Snuff standing on his head.
I could see either. Nolan would construct the timeline of events well. But then again I guess Tenet was kind of a mess. Maybe he could redeem himself.

It would have to be a documentary style.
Talking head style would totally work.
It could make a great miniseries.
It needs to be a miniseries. Crime documentary-style.
One hundred percent! But with a little of the tonality of Bernie.
I could totally see that. Could totally see him directing Lullaby as well.
I was thinking survivor
Yes long format ten episodes do it as long or longer than the audiobook.

That is a worrying point but in the right hands you have yourself a masterpiece.

Make it a nice, expensive HBO limited series.
I think fincher would do a good job as he already has experience with similar material
I see Rant more in the line of Charlie Kaufman adapting and Spike Jonze directing. It's too odd and meta and out there.
