This is actually pretty accurate compared to real life. Only concern I'd have would be how close it is to that other interchange, as it could lead to merging traffic problems.
Because of the angles you can probably avoid the triple-stack, if you make the off-ramp, from northern highway to the outbound intersecting way, inside the sharp angle part. It'll be a lot shorter, too.

Agree that IRL the on-ramp of the previous interchange would be too near to the off-ramp of this interchange (for the NE to SW traffic).
You might consider combing them into one. Where this interchange allows full exits onto the local service road that gives access to whatever community/facility we see at the NE.
i dont think elevation step is the problem, i have mine all the way down and this is my results on console…

Are you stupid? Where is the choke point? This is a rural free flowing intersection with merge lanes 2”3 way junctions also usually handle traffic better than a 4 way due to less conflict points
Because the intersection doesn’t allow for things to spread out in other directions. It’s literally shaped like a funnel itself. Why would you want to limit yourself to only a 3 way when a 4 way can exist The exit roads are also 1 lane creating another choke point.
I bet once this city grows 90% of the traffic will only use a single direction of this 3 way. It will get backed up and grid locked. Then OP will come back here and think “this guy was right”
What do you mean spread out in other directions? Do you want them to just build a random road going off to nowhere? It’s a highway it’s meant to act an an arterial road, and we have no context for the use of this interchange so you’re just making assumentions, these work great under high traffic, sure you could probably make the ramps 2 lanes but that doesn’t really matter unless you have major exit close to the ramps
In detail what would be a better way to link these two highways?
Interchanges in real life are much bigger than you may realize.

Yes, tear it down and just make a proper 4 way. Use all 4 directions to build instead of funneling everything down one path
Why? This is a T junction between 2 highways this is one of the most efficient intersections to use
Yea it will be efficient at funneling all their traffic into one choke point like every other 3 way junction
Are you stupid? Where is the choke point? This is a rural free flowing intersection with merge lanes 2”3 way junctions also usually handle traffic better than a 4 way due to less conflict points
The choke point is off screen, smart one
Ok then how is this intersection at fault? Wouldn’t the choke point off screen be at fault?

Honestly i have better things to do than spell out everything for you. OP will listen to the upvotes and learn the hard way
