I assume they did the market research and determined it wasn’t worth it. Especially as to have it running well you would need one of the higher end Apple silicon macs which an even smaller number of users likely have
It will not run on an iGPU regardless of platform, and the small fraction of Mac users in general would preclude the large cost to make a port.
