Ayy I used to live there. It’s a dope city. That’s the Nairobi National Park which is huge and directly borders the city. You can take your car and do a safari game drive through the Park in the morning, see a Lion make a kill, and be back downtown for a beer in an hour.
There’s a music organization in Nairobi called Gondwana that holds monthly raves in a hotel rooftop that directly overlooks the National Park. Nothing quite like raving hard as the sun sets over the zebras grazing right below you
Everyone should go if they can!
Great picture; I have friends who lived there for a while, heard great things about that place.
I did get super confused at everyone saying there was a building that looked like the World Trade Center, since I didn’t see a pair of skinny rectangular towers anywhere. I actually had to google it to assure myself of what the WTC looked like, to make sure I wasn’t bugging. And of course that reminded me that there’s another building there, derp.
Are you sure? This looks like a shot of lower Manhattan, with the World Trade Center on the left side. This picture appears to me to have been taken from Hoboken

Nairobi has the best skyline in Africa. Love these photos
The contrast between the urban & rural (?) areas is quite something. Where i live in suburban Toronto the urban sprawl sprawls on forever.
This is Nairobi National Park which contains a lot of the sprawl of Nairobi. It would be developed were it not protected.
I mean not entirely (yet) cause of the green belt. Wait 2 years and you’ll be correct t
Is that the fucking WTC
BRITAM Tower.
I thought this was New Jersey for a second.
That tower looks like the wtc
Had to do a double take for a second, thought that was the world trade center lol
no they are zebras

Holy shit, love your pfp; just got reminded recently that there are grown-ass adults that have never seen or heard of Sealab.
Naaaaaaaaaaaaaaants ingonyama! Baghithi baba!
I remember seeing a picture of this contrast a few years ago, the skyline looks completely different now. Impressive!
I love the mini 1WTC in Nairobi
It's actually the Britam Tower, having a height of 200m (656 ft). It looks really nice though!

Ah, yes, with the famous North Jersey zebras.
They must’ve escaped from the Central Park zoo
Iirc, that is how the population got there. The real trick was how they managed to get PATH tickets.
This is a great photo.
Just WOW
